Monday afternoon, our loving Dad, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather, Dick Smith, passed away. He lived a very good 90-year life. We will miss him and his vibrant way so very much. We are grateful to God for his whole life, his faith-filled ministry, and for a peaceful dying. Memorial service will be at St John's Lutheran Church, 20165 Heath Ave., Lakeville, MN, Tuesday, March 10th. Visitation 10:00 a.m., service 11:00 a.m., lunch 12 noon.

My cousin sent this to me today. I love it. My mom died less than 6 months ago. I trust she experienced a celebration of joy and love like this with God and all who have gone before us. Lenten peace to all of you. ❤️

A week ago today, I got to see my 108 and 1/2-year-old Great-Aunt and follow it up with a wonderful day of golf with three cousins and an uncle in a YMCA fundraiser in memory of my Great-Uncle, Clayton Anderson (my Great-Aunt's late husband). The fundraiser is for those who cannot afford it to take part in YMCA programs in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls. Our Great-Aunt, still sharp and vivacious, sponsored us. Thank you, Dor! How fortunate are we, for so many reasons, to be able to share in something like this together and still have a beloved Great-Aunt with us at almost 109 years old?!

Such a terrific and fun day today playing with uncles and cousins in an annual YMCA fundraiser for youth scholarships in memory of our uncle and great-uncle, Clayton Anderson, who spent his career with the Y and with University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Thanks to our 107.5 year-old (!) aunt and great-aunt, Dor, for sponsoring us.

One of the things I really like-dogs! All dogs! Big dogs, little dogs. This is Lucy. She is my godmother’s 15 year old wiener dog. I stop to pet dogs when we are out, but I always ask the owner if it is ok.
