Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got 'til it's (uh)
Don't it always seem to go (uh, uh)
That you don't know what you've got 'til it's (uh, uh)
Don't it always seem to go (uh, uh)
That you don't know what you've got 'til it's (uh, uh)
Uh (uh), uh (uh)
That you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone (what?)
… Have a feeling, now believing that you (yeah)
Were the one I was meant to be with (uh, uh, uh)
Oh, how I'm wishing, thinking, dreaming (uh, what?)
'Bout you and the love (uh, uh, what?)
How'd I ever let you get away?

I see you and you see me
Watch you blowing the lines when you're making a scene
Oh, girl, you've got to know
What my head overlooks the senses will show to my heart
When it's watching for lies, you can't escape my
Private eyes
They're watching you
They see your every move
Private eyes
They're watching you
Private eyes
They're watching you, watchin' you, watchin' you, watching you

Would you stand up and walk out on me?
Lend me your ears, then I'll sing you a song

DAy 1 standing pose

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we are moving with a purpose.

Breast cancer awareness month - In memory of my Sister Sylvia - Double Mastectomy Survivor at 29- Passed away at 35. My sister was one year older than me . She was my friend. She was born with cerebral palsy and sat in wheelchairs for the majority of her life. Everything i could do physically she couldn’t. Her mind was sharp but her body was weak. She loved to see other kids play but it pained her that she was unable to join in. I spent a majority of my younger years playing with and entertaining her inside the house. She was my best friend and she always had a smile for everyone she met. Sylvia exuded happiness even when she was in pain. She was a warrior - She was the STRONGEST person I knew. 🎀🎀

When we think of transformation, we often picture changes to the body: greater strength, flexibility, or a different appearance. Yoga invites us to look deeper. Lasting transformation also involves the mind and spirit—how we relate to ourselves, how we treat others, and how we move through the world.

Changing the body without tending to the inner self can leave us feeling hollow or unfulfilled. The eight limbs of yoga offer a fuller path, encouraging peace, kindness, humility, self-discipline, and love. The Yamas and Niyamas—the ethical foundations of yoga—include *ahimsa*, or non-harming: a commitment to meet ourselves and others with care.

Yoga need not be a religion; for many, it is a way of life and a way of seeing. It can help us pause before reacting, respond with greater awareness, and choose actions that reflect our values. The deepest transformation isn’t only how we look or what we can do—it’s who we are becoming.

Did somebody say good time? (hic)
Well, I know a place where you can have it
Up where the homeboys run like rabbits
Revenuers try to shut 'em down
But that still's still on the hill
Where you buy you a jug of thrills
So grab you a jar of juice and head to town
Good time, talk about a good time
We're gonna unwind, so let 'er go
Good time, talk about a good time
Ain't it about time? So let 'er roll

☀️🇨🇷 You are invited!! ⛰️🧘🏻‍♀️☕️🫶🏼 19-25 Nov 2026
Julie of @juliebwarrior is hosting a yoga retreat in Costa Rica at @embodycostarica 19-25 Nov 2026

Resilient Spirit - Yoga and Discovery Retreat
A retreat for connection, renewal and growth.

Resilience is the ability to move forward through challenge and change. Feeling connected—to ourselves, to others, and to what matters most—is one of the most powerful ways to nurture inner strength and support our well-being.

This retreat offers an opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with yourself in a supportive and inspiring environment. Through daily yoga, meditation, nature experiences, creative exploration, meaningful conversations, and moments of rest and reflection, we will cultivate the qualities that help us navigate life with greater ease, courage, and balance.

Whether hiking through nature, creating a mandala, sharing a cacao ceremony, exploring the local culture, or simply enjoying quiet moments of presence, each experience is designed to foster connection, self-discovery, and personal growth.

Join Julie for a week of movement, mindfulness, community, and renewal as we strengthen our capacity to meet life’s challenges with resilience, openness, and joy 😁
