We had the Simpson crew out this summer for a bass fishing trip on Lake George‼️This was a great learning trip for our group because I got to explain how different color baits work on different fish. We were casting at schools of largemouth with no takers, until I decided to switch colors. People ask us all the time “do fish actually see colors and do different colored baits actually make a difference”. The answer is yes and at times changing colors can make a massive difference. Matt’s first cast with a different color caught him his new pb of 5.3lbs and we went on to catch a bunch on the same bait. It was an awesome day out on Lake George with a great group!

We had the Merle crew out this year for a lake trout trip and we hammered them ending in double digits‼️ It was one of those days where the weather was calling for thunderstorms all morning so we delayed the start, and just ended up going out and trying it. Well it was well worth it and we hammered them all morning during the trip. The lake trout bite was hot and heavy from start to finish and shows that somedays you just have to go regardless of what the weather says. I’m so happy we made it work and crushed them out there on Lake George!!

We had the Hansen crew out with us over the summer and the boys had an awesome time targeting lake trout and bass on Lake George‼️It was an afternoon trip so the lake trout bite can be finicky, but these guys did an awesome job jigging lake trout up out of 100’+ of water. It was actually a very consistent bite this year in the afternoon for catching them. No crazy numbers but if you targeted them you would catch them!
The bass bite was also great this trip and everyone had a blast catching largemouth!

We had Lucas and Brendan out for their annual trip on Lake George this summer and we had a blast catching a ton of lake trout and largemouth‼️Lucas always wanted to eat a fish that he caught so we made it happen this trip! The jigging bite was excellent and we had a blast catching them on light tackle. After the laker bite stopped, we switched to largies and found a few nice ones. Another great trip with two awesome guys!!

We had Cody and Ryan out with us this summer for a afternoon bass trip‼️ I couldn’t believe it when Ryan caught this absolute monster smallmouth bass on the very first cast of the trip. Sometimes they say it’s bad luck, but it wasn’t the case for us! After some crazy jumps and runs we got this fish in and released her quick. It made for an awesome new PB for Ryan of 4.1lbs! During the rest of the trip we caught a bunch of nice largemouth! These fish were super healthy and thick. Another great trip on the Queen!

We had the Kunkel family out with us for a lake trout trip over the summer and we did excellent landing a ton of nice lake trout, including a 10lb, 30”‼️ We found fish all over the place during this trip and it was awesome to see so many good ones! To be 90 years old and still catching lake trout is just absolutely amazing. It was another great trip on the Queen!

We had our annual trip with the Agnoli crew this year where we went after lake trout in the morning and then bass in the afternoon‼️ We found a few lakers early on and got some crazy pictures with the wildfire smoke from Canada! Thankfully we only had a few smoky days this summer. Once we switched over to bass we found a bunch of great fish and an absolute monster chain pickerel. This fish was all of 26/27” and at that size they are a true top predator. Pickerel definitely go under appreciated, but they are always there when you need a bite!
It was another great trip with a great crew on Lake George.

We had the Jennings family out this summer for their annual lake george fishing trip and we had an excellent time hammering the bass‼️ Riley crushed this monster 5lber and was able to set his PB. It was so awesome watching him fight this fish on light line. He took his time, let the fish fight it out and we got it! We found a bunch of other fish in the 2-3lb range as well! Can’t wait to see you guys again next year!

Earlier this season we had American lawyer, Roberta “Robbie” Kaplan out for a lake trout and bass trip on Lake George‼️We found one of the hottest bites of the season as I located a school of lake trout and smallmouth gorging on baitfish in shallow water. These fish were on the absolute feed and it was every single cast for us. Constant 23-28” lake trout and 3-4lb smallmouth bass! Roberta loves targeting trout on the fly so light tackle lake trout was a fun alternative!!! Such a great trip!

Very few things get me as excited as catching big fish through the ice. This is definitely my PB bass on hardwater! Anyone else get this excited?
