Chic Jesters and Glamorous Ghouls and Handsome Himbos /Baddie Bimbos, we gather here today to honor the lost brain and liver cells from Pride. Let us honor them the only way we know how.

Heard you’re not into Pride if you don’t go….

Excited and nervous to have this out. I haven’t written in a long time but when @rachelbface presented the idea of @htxdrag I had to say yes to this opportunity. The Houston drag community has shown me what it means to be unapologetically yourself. I hope my writing shows my appreciation and respect for these artists. I also hope that my writing acts as a documentation of our drag scene today; that people in the future will be able to look back at detailed stories of these amazing individuals. Big things are coming with this project! I love my city and I love my community :)

The first installment of HTX Drag feature no. 001 is available to read on tumblr. Link in bio
