Le 6 mars dernier, nous vivions le premier vernissage de l’exposition Ladies are Just Amazing 📷✨
Vous aviez peut-être aperçu quelques clichés cet été, aux abords du musée de l’hospice Comtesse de Lille… ce n’était que le début ! 🎨🤩

Ce projet photographique a démarré il y a 4 ans, sur une initiative de Didier Van Peteghem et ces équipes du Campus Créatif de l’université catholique de Lille. 🖼
L’objectif ? 📷 mettre en avant plusieurs richesses culturelles de notre territoire : les sportives, le patrimoine et l’art, trois sujets qui rassemblent. Nous avons immédiatement embarqué, et prêté notre nom et nos réseaux. Le projet nous ressemble : faire briller les femmes et le(ur) sport, en croisant des mondes différents. 🌍🤝

Ce vernissage fût à l’image de la volonté du projet : un public mixte, rassemblés par intérêts variés 🎨🏒🚴‍♀🏠

Merci aux sportives d’avoir mis leur image au service de l’art et de la rencontre, merci aux équipes d’artistes (photographes, maquilleuses, décoratrices, stylistes et logistiques), merci aux différents lieux de nous avoir ouvert leurs portes (fosse 9-9bis, Palais Rameau, Meert, maison odelin, piscine Max Dromoy, la piscine Roubaix, studio Port Fluvial) 😍
Merci à l’université de la Catho d’avoir financé le projet et de prêter ses murs aux photos (premier lieu officiel de l’exposition) 🏰

Nous avons hâte de faire voyager cette exposition dans tous les territoire des Hauts de France, et de la faire grandir avec d’autres shooting en hommage aux sportives et à notre région, si belles! 🤩

@brogosports STANDARD DISTANCE TRIATHLON HENGSTDIJK 🥇& BROGO TRIATHLON CUP 🏆

Third weekend of racing in a row but this time on a shorter distance (1k 🏊🏼‍♀️ - 45k 🚴‍♀️ - 10k 🏃‍♀️). Starting on the first row in front of the (male) trios in our wave was probably not the smartest idea 🤦‍♀️ Got a bit drowned right after the beach start 😳 and it took me the whole first lap to catch up on the leading woman but could finally exit the water with a comfortable lead. I tried to keep pushing myself on the bike and the run and was still happy about the paces at the end of a BIG racing block with only 4 weeks without racing since the beginning of July 😬 It wasn’t easy to find my run form again post-injury with so many races on my calendar but now I have 2 weekends off to build some speed towards my last race of the season at @chmallorca🤞It will be welcome to recharge a bit mentally and physically before competing internationally again, which I couldn’t do much this season due to injury reschedule & job duties (& race cancellations…).

I enjoyed racing in the lovely (sunny 🤤) setting of Hengstdijk and I loved the support and company of so many @3md_triatlon teammates in the final race on the Belgian calendar ❤️💙 Also big congrats to my teammates for the win in the T3 Triathlon Series competition 🥇🏆 I’m so proud of you and happy I could help the young guns on the bike in the first 2 races of the Series when I couldn’t run 🥉🥇👊

Mixed feelings about our 3rd place 🥉 at the Belgian team championships yesterday.

First of all I’m very proud of the team effort and to be on the podium with this very young team. Of course there were some points of improvement and we all think we could do better but as the team coach Wauter said: we have to be proud of this podium because many teams would like to be there and we’re gonna learn from our mistakes. We were very close to 2nd 🥈 (only 5”) but with this team in full strenght, we are allowed to dream about the title 🥇 as well ❤️💙

For me personally, I’ve been struggling a bit in the last weeks. Shortly after my first race of the season, I got Covid and as soon as my quarantaine was finished, I started struggling with my achilles. My test runs were unsuccesful last week, so it was very disappointing to quit the race in T2 and not being able to help the team on the run. We will do further examinations and I hope to be running soon again 🤞 In the meantime I’m swimming 🏊🏼‍♀️ and riding 🚴‍♀️ a lot 😵
