POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

There’s a few people at this camp who have been there for over 30 years. There’s many who have been there over 2 years. I didn’t understand at first but now I know why, and why my recruiter Josh Cash (big shout out btw and Frannie) had tears in his eyes when he was telling his story about his first time to present at Camp Ozark. Not only is it the incredible, supportive and special fellow staff (and tower rangers) whom I have made friends for life with. Some travelled maybe 2 hours some 16 hours+. There’s a reason. Not only is it the most special, funniest and awesome kids who deserve all of you there. And the amazing activities and games (come on ropes family) and special events. No in all of it, hardship and mountain tops there is a God who has created us, who loves us even in our lowest moments Jesus died for you. You are loved. This is what Camp Ozark preached, thats why its so special and why campers and staff (including me) keep coming back having left confident, strong in who we are and powered up to be the light that God has called us to be. “You are the light of the world. A town on a hilltop cannot easily be hidden, in the same way let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good deeds and glory your Father in heaven” - Jesus Christ.

Officially done working at my second home. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to grow alongside the most amazing people. I’ve challenged myself in the most unexpected ways, and I came out a better person than I went in. The people truly make the place, and the people made this an incomparable last 3 months. This place’s ability to draw in the most life-changing, devoted, selfless people is amazing. You will never be forgotten Camp Ozark 🤍. more pictures coming soon :)
