Nothing says “Smoky Mountain cabin” quite like waking up to a black bear outside your door. 🐻☕️ We had an unexpected breakfast visitor this morning!

✨ A L U M N I R E U N I T E ✨

Still so joyful from Monday with this crew!

If you missed the first Alumni Study: never fear, the recap is here.

After our rose/thorns/what toe we would get rid of chit chat, we prayed with Proverbs 3:5-6, learned about Ignatius of Loyola and the Spiritual Exercises and dove into the first 4 attitudes for authentic discernment:
- Openness: being actually open to anything God wants + identifying our attachments (healthy or unhealthy)
- Generosity: not counting the cost
- Courage: no matter what—decisions will take this, and it ONLY comes from God
- Interior Freedom: to make an open, generous, courageous decision: this is VITAL (CCC 1731)

And finally, we talked about the 3 types of people + their different approaches to decision making:
1. “all talk, no action”—the inaction becomes the decision after procrastinating making one
2. “all but 1”—does everything but the 1 thing necessary that God is bringing up
3. “truly free”—deepest whole desire is to do God’s Will, with no conditions

CANNOT WAIT to have y’all all back next Monday!!
Invite your friends, and come when you can: this is your home🤍🤍
