I am in the middle of hosting my 4th “Inner Goddess” Retreat in Bali as I write this.. 🌹

Today is our “Space – 5th Chakra” day, a day where we each take a little space to listen more deeply to our own truth… 💙

In this quiet pocket of time, I find myself reflecting on the incredible women I have been blessed to meet along my journey of life so far..

Women who I have not only held space for, but who have also held space for me and for each other. Our paths weaving together for a moment in time - sharing wisdom, stories, laughter, tears, and transformation.

Over the past few years, I have had the pleasure of meeting so many incredible women, both on my retreats and in life… Each one arriving with her own story, her own courage, her own quiet or fierce strength. Every time I am reminded that this work is never something I simply “give” -
it is something we create together. A weaving of energies, experiences, and hearts.

💓🌸 Thank you all for being here 🌹💓

✨Wherever your heart is.. is where you will find your treasure..✨ [Paulo Cohelo - The Alchemist]
.
That inspired this whole journey - in this magical corner of the World that is Tarifa..

Embracing the nature and dancing with the elements 🌱🌊☀️💨, peeling back layers of fear, self doubt, pre conditioning.. and returning to our centre.. re-learning.. how to listen to our heart .. and finding our soul’s true path 🙏✨

Thank you to all you beautiful souls for embracing this journey together! Each one is magical in it’s own way and this one certainly was.. extraordinary ✨🦋

✨🌺CELEBRATING SISTERHOOD✨🌺.. HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY..
.
I write this on the morning of my INNER GODDESS RETREAT here in Bali and am overwhelmed with gratitude for the Sisterhood in my life, these SOULships that I have become abundant over the last few years.. 🌺
.
THERE IS SO MUCH POWER WHEN WOMEN COME TOGETHER
.
And this can ONLY happen by forming sisterhoods, women circles, sharing this feminine wisdom with others.. many of which that has been buried, shamed and or even “forgotten”..

Allowing women to BE, to FEEL, to step into their own divine feminine essence instead of being forced into a masculine world driven by competition and where exhaustion is glorified. Supporting each other in struggles and celebrating each others successes!
.
So this INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY I invite you to share some love, some TIME with your sisters, mothers, daughters, SOUL WOMEN and celebrate one another!

Devote a Sacred Space to SHARING ...tea, feelings, emotions, struggles.. ALLOW yourself to be vulnerable.. be the trailblazer that makes other women feel safe to do the same…

Invite in some CREATIVITY.. dancing, painting, singing.. Artistic & Creative Expression - and celebrate even the small wins.. the fact that we have a breathing moving body!

Celebrate life together! 💓

That is all I intend to create on my gatherings - and time and time again, women show up, often exhausted, off balance, unsure how to “fit it all in”..
.
Sometimes we just need to be told “It’s OK”…by another sister.. “It’s OK to FEEL what you FEEL...” “You’re doing AMAZING”… “Take some REST”.. Sometimes we need to share in other people’s struggles to realise we are not alone in this.. but we CAN help each other through it..

And every time I hold these circles, retreats and spaces for women, I RECEIVE so much too.. I hear the words of wisdom coming through my own voice and know that it’s for me to listen to as well.

For every woman. For every Goddess. 🌹 (continued in comments 👇🏽 )…

Why M A G I C happens on retreat - The secret behind transformation ✨..
.
If you know you know.. If you have been on one of my retreats then you have FELT it..

And it isn’t just because we are in a beautiful warm sunny place, doing yoga, eating yummy food and taking massages..

Sometimes it isn’t warm.. sometimes the rain pours for days.. sometimes a power cut, sometimes the place you planned to do sunrise yoga is closed for family bereavement.. one time the masseuse was sick so nobody could have a massage.. Sometimes a traffic jam, a diversion.. but you know what? These “obstacles” have been PART of the transformation.. layered with a lovingly curated journey that I share through each and every yoga, dance and movement practice.. to uncover layers of yourself..

Because life is not laying in a luxury villa being waited on hand and foot and everything running perfectly without a hitch. Life is hard.. life throws us challenges and obstacles all the time.. Life is also beautiful.. and when we can see and feel the beauty in the midst of chaos or disruption.. learn not only to accept both the external and internal “set backs” but use them for our own growth and expansion.. viewing them as lessons, as messengers for our own self healing, and TRUST that what is meant for us will come to us, in divine timing ✨

Last week on our Finding Freedom Through Movement Retreat we experienced the heaviest rainfall Southern Spain has seen for years. This time last year my students were laid by the pool in the afternoons enjoying the warm late summer sun - quite a contrast! But we got what we needed.. Time to go inwards.. reflect.. introspection. Gratitude that we were safe, warm and fed knowing that others not so far away were much worse off. I went deeper with the practices this last week than I have with any of my students.. it’s as if the rain not only purified and washed away layers of conditioning but also opened up a well in each of them to be open to receive more and more.. [CONTINUED IN COMMENTS.. 👇🏽]

What an incredible opportunity and experience to lead my first Shakti ‘dance of yoga’ session in the majestic Om Dome @suryalilayoga.

I was supported by friends old and new (including those very new - roped in over lunch 10 mins before the session!). No one had done Shakti before but everyone who came was so open to it 💚 Thank you for giving me that gentle nudge - really appreciate it.

God, I love a bank holiday. Filled with a trip to Homebase, lunch @solera_brighton and two new plant babies 🪴
Sunday funday started with a roast @thenewclub which was 10 out of 10! Bar hopping in the sunshine and lots of beer flowing 🍺☀️
