i said goodbye to the house I grew up in over the weekend. it’s a new type of grief I haven’t experienced in my adult hood.

for 23 years, this place was home. it held so many versions of me, so many chapters of life, and so many people I love. there were pool parties, birthdays, holidays, movies, sleepovers, late night talks, laughter, tears, you name it…It happened. 😭

throughout high school that house was the go to house for pizza and scary movie nights. i would do all the research of what movie to rent at blockbuster, pick up pizza from little caesar’s, and have all the crew over. the sleepovers where we would just laugh for hours. 👻

if only those walls could talk and say all the wild shit that went down🥲. it makes me sad letting go of a place that holds so much of my life, but I know I will cherish and hold on tight to all the wild times.

2016 ❤️ What a freaking year✨
I already knew going through my camera roll was going to wreck me, but wow. Ten years later and I truly cannot believe how much we packed into one year. Very obviously the year of Kaskade lol.

So many Vegas trips (often last minute), matching tattoos, festivals with my best friends, BevMo five-cent wine, the birth of the official Snack Queen era, and dancing literally everywhere. There was so much loss 🤍 and a lot of heavy moments, but also so much healing on dance floors, laughing through tears, and letting music carry us when nothing else could.

From Vegas to LA, the Gorge, and NYC, from Britney to Porter to Lane 8 to blink 182, from birthdays to goodbyes, this year taught me how joy and grief can exist at the same time. I left my first job after 9.5 years, ended the year dancing at Bill Graham with friends, and somehow came out the other side forever changed.

What a year. What a time💖✨love yall!

My first Warped Tour is literally what dreams are made of. People complaining about parking, food, shade, or seating - couldn’t be me. I teared up so many times seeing some of my favorite bands of all time live for the first time. Little 16-year-old Tiffany would be so damn proud. I didn’t even attend my first “concert” i.e. a rave until college and I just can’t even put into words how much it means knowing these bands are still doing the damn thing. It was never a phase, and dammit, my old ass is still gonna be listening to these same albums forty years from now. I even learned what “skanking” was during Dropkick’s set haha. Even the unexpected moments like Sublime playing “What I Got” just brought back all the mems of my brother and I playing Dave Mirra’s BMX game as our unlocked Slim Jim character. 10/10 would do it all again, and will be dancing my little emo heart out next year, even if my old ass still hurts from the weekend.

Also, the fact that The Academy Is announced a 2025 tour today, I cannot even deal. I damn near cried at my desk today. I don’t care when or where nearby, I will absolutely be there. #elderemoforever #warpedtour 🤟🏻🎸🖤
