✨ Your gut might be trying to tell you something.

So much of our overall wellness begins in the gut. When we support a healthy gut, we can also support digestion, energy, immune function, and overall well-being. That's why our family chooses to be intentional with what we put into our bodies every day.

For us, that looks like pairing our daily supplement routine with clean, ionized water to stay hydrated. Hydration plays an important role in helping your body function at its best, and drinking enough water is a simple habit that supports overall health.

Healthy families are built one small choice at a time—and those small choices add up.

If you've been curious about how we naturally support our gut health and daily hydration, I'd love to share what's been working for our family. Send me a message or drop a 💙 below!

I may not have walked away with a crown... but the confidence I found in myself will springboard me onto greater and more fulfilling adventures. Never stop trying new things or reaching higher.... even before kids, acromegaly, and 40 if you had told me I would strut across a stage in a swimsuit I would have laughed in your face but I did!!!! And I ROCKED it!!!

Seven days separate me from the Mrs. Nevada America stage, and my heart is completely full.

When I set out on this journey, my goal was to use this platform to amplify the values that matter most: civility, community stewardship, and slow, intentional living. Every conversation, volunteer hour, and appearance has been an absolute honor. Win or lose next weekend, the work continues—but I sure am ready to give it my all! 🌟

See you all in one week! 🥂

🌟 The Ultimate Comeback (and a Lesson in Community) 🌟

When I launched **The Intentional Life**, I wanted to focus on community stewardship, neighborly connection, and how we lift each other up. Little did I know, I was about to get a massive, personal masterclass in exactly that.

A few months ago, I faced a major hurdle: *hip replacement surgery*🦿

Going from major surgery to being "stage ready" seemed like a monumental mountain to climb, especially with a tight 3-month deadline. But a community is only as strong as the people who show up for you when you're at your most vulnerable.

Enter my absolute hero physical therapists, **David and Jon**. 🩺✨

These two didn't just give me standard physical therapy; they gave me my strength, my confidence, and my stride back. They pushed me, encouraged me, and worked tirelessly to ensure I’d be ready to stand tall and step onto that stage with grace and power.

That is what *The Intentional Life* is all about—investing in one another, practicing true stewardship, and celebrating the incredible people who help us rebuild.

David and Jon, thank you for being my heroes and getting me across the finish line. 🤍

To everyone else navigating a tough recovery or a big hurdle: never underestimate the power of a dedicated team and a focused mindset. We can do hard things when we do them intentionally, together!

The Quiet Power of Persistence ✨

They say that heavy is the head that wears the crown, but sometimes, the heaviest weight is the one carried silently beneath the surface.

In the world of chronic illness, "normal" days are actually feats of extraordinary endurance. I often think about the "minor" things—getting dressed, managing a schedule, showing up for community events—and I realize that many people would crumble if they had to do them with even half of the pain and mental strain that chronic warriors face every single hour.

But this isn't a post about struggle. This is a celebration of greatness. I am incredibly proud of the woman I am—not in spite of my health journey, but because of it. It has taught me a level of fortitude that most will never have to tap into. It has refined my empathy and sharpened my resolve. To my fellow warriors: never minimize your "small" wins. When you operate at a 10/10 difficulty level, every step forward is a victory lap.

I’m standing tall, wearing my resilience as proudly as any title, and reminding you that you are capable of incredible things, even on the days the world doesn't see the battle.

Stay graceful, stay gritty, and keep shining. 👑

How do we protect our youth in an ever-changing world? We start at home, and then we move to the front porch. 🏡

Victoria’s Voice is doing the brave work of education and prevention, and The Intentional Life provides the framework to make that mission a reality in our own backyards. This cause is deeply personal to me; having walked the path of recovery myself, I know firsthand the strength it takes to overcome and the vital importance of a support system. My journey has taught me that connection is often the bridge from struggle to a life of purpose.

By bringing back the tradition of the neighborhood block party, we break down the walls of isolation that often lead to crisis. My hope is that through these gatherings, we create a space where no one feels they have to face their battles alone.

Being an intentional neighbor means being a watchful one. Let’s use our platforms and our neighborhoods to spread a message of hope, resilience, and prevention.
