RÉCAP - VACANCES D’AUTOMNE 🩷💙

Twenty-two bio-designed pieces, choreographed once, then reborn as light.

For a haute couture catwalk, dancers wore pieces grown from local grass seeds into a textile intertwined by the roots and shoots, then hand sculpted and transformed with algae.

Each piece was designed from the start to become lighting after the performance. Each light is a one off design.

Design by @mwo_design
A choreography by @luccaberlo

Danced by @trmchanel and @hugofinfe
Art direction by @luccaberlo @mwo_design

Film by @trycolor.studio

A project that started with a catwalk organised by @bnpparibasfortisprivatebanking with @natancouture at The Standard Brussels. A heartfelt thank you to @kabongostephan and to @guillaumejoveneau, artistic director of the show, for the trust.

And a huge thank you to the plants, for their beautiful weaving.

metamorphosis

a journey in motion, where body and mind transform, exploring fluidity, strength, and the emergence of a collective identity

dancers : @hugofinfe @sarah._maurer @ryanrchi @trmchanel & @ines_mzta
music : @olafurarnalds

special mention to my guy Ryan, who couldn’t share the stage with us that day but was there throughout the entire creative process, and with whom we got to share the premiere of the piece at the Choreographer’s Ball!

and a huge thank you to @movezonedancecrew for the invitation, for welcoming us so warmly, and for giving artists the opportunity to share their work during this “Émergence” evening.
