Introducing the evolved identity for Cursor, a powerful coding agent helping people build ambitious software. A collaboration between PORTO ROCHA, @kimeracorp and Cursor’s in-house team, the identity is grounded in the idea of Engineered Ambition—pairing technical rigor with the drive to build something greater. A custom typographic system designed by Kimera anchors a broader visual language informed by the logic of code: modular, flexible, and built to be recombined. Across typography, imagery, and motion, the system moves from functional precision to expressive experimentation. The result reflects Cursor’s belief that better tools empower people to take on bigger challenges. Original logo by Ben Barry @benbarry

A mixed-breed merging the Geometric and Grotesk archetypes, Metra is characterised by a plenteous steadiness, large x-height and flared capital M. Built in the 13th century, this castle reopened as a contemporary art center (@lechateauaubenas ). @zoo_designers_graphiques designed its visual identity and Montlaur Display, a custom typeface by @hugolecorre inspired by Roman inscriptions found on site. MONTLAUR DISPLAY is the official typeface of @lechateauaubenas - Part of a global graphic system, it is inspired by an engraved stone found in the meanders of the castle (last pic) showing inscriptions based on Roman capitalis monumentalis. Its contemporary rereading is a dialogue between eras, in keeping with castle architectural evolution. Dating back to the 13th century Aubenas’ Château reopened this summer as a prestigious center for contemporary art. More to come!
