Snaps from our Bug takeover with @human_t_live @glastofest 💛

Thank you so much @arcadia & @minirigs for the opportunity and looking after us so well. A weekend we will never ever forget and a place we are totally in awe of.

Glastonbury wouldn’t be what it is without the thousands of grassroots artists, creatives and collectives who bring the place truly to life.

We feel so passionately that grassroots culture must be protected at all costs and hope the next Government do more for this vital sector, which gives so many of us light.

Human Traffic & Save Our Scene have teamed up for a Glastonbury special, showcasing some of our favourites and flying the flag for the cause of preserving our way of life.

The real story of youth is clubs, festivals, pubs and getting off ya tits, finding freedom with mates.

The iconic British film Human Traffic is celebrating it’s 25th birthday, a film centred around the lives of five friends, who spend their week working mundane jobs, waiting for the weekend so that they can immerse themselves in a whirl of parties.

Not much has changed… or has it?

We are seeing the accelerating collapse of pubs, clubs and festivals at a rate never known … 5 clubs are closing every week in the UK and over 60 festivals have already cancelled in 2024. Mainly due to rising costs.

Our world renowned culture is now hanging by a thread.

BUT!

It is in YOUR hands. When your weekend lands, you want your favourite club to still be there and your local to be open.

The only way you can have a say is to register to vote by June 18th & vote on July 4th, not letting decision fall into the wrong hands. You can do this via @justvote24

See those who are going on the farm 💛🖤

2023.. A year of making a scene 🔊

Thank you to every single person who supported us over the past 12 months. Be it coming to our events, helping our campaigns or even just watching our content. We are so grateful to all of you.

2023 was a massive struggle for many operators, seeing 15% of grassroots venues close down & many more businesses & jobs being lost. This can not continue.

Our mission is to build SOS into a platform which can make a serious impact in helping combat issues that face the Night Time Economy. It’s so important we look after the entire eco-system of the sector, not just the top.

We also plan to do a lot more for up and coming musicians, creatives and YOU, our community.

We have a huge mountain to climb in order to achieve this, but with your support I truly believe we can.

GOOD LUCK this year!! Might not always be plain sailing, but smooth seas never made a good sailor 🌊 You’ve got dis 🫡

Thank you so much again and we will see you very soon!

💛
