We are excited to announce the opening of our latest exhibition: Source Material - this Friday, August 13th @cpacphoto. Curated by Roula Seikaly and Jon Feinstein, Source Material includes the work of eight photography-based artists who use found and vernacular imagery and photos from family archives to navigate personal and cultural history and trauma - all with a sense of care. See our bio link for more details. Participating artists: @birthepiontek, @jody_poorwill, @aturn_arkdelta, Ina Lounguine, @alaynapernell, @pacifico_photo, @diego__romo, and @offday_goth. We’ll also be hosting a Zoom conversation with a few participating artists later this month so stay tuned!

Also part of “The Deconstructed Self” series and shot in 2017 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I’m very drawn to negative space and color. The midday light in the Southwest tends to flatten scenes in a way that I find intriguing.

@natalie_santafe takeover #haftakeover. I am very interested in abstraction and look for architecture with clean lines for these kinds of images. We don’t have much of that in Santa Fe, however I do have a couple of spots that I enjoy very much. This was one of my early attempts at this style and sparked the “New Mexico Deconstructed” series.

From my “storefronts” series. I’m originally from Kentucky and lived there my entire life until moving to New Mexico in 2014. This was taken on a visit back home in 2016. I used to drive this road everyday to my job at Ft. Knox where I worked in the behavioral health clinic. This road is known as “wide wide Dixie Highway” . Best said with a southern accent.
