10 years in downtown Knoxville! 🧡

For the last decade, we’ve had the privilege of calling Gay Street home, welcoming so many of you through our doors, filling prescriptions, scooping ice cream, pouring coffee, and making more memories than we could ever count!

So for our 10th birthday, we wanted to turn the celebration outward and say thank you to the businesses and neighbors who have helped make downtown Knoxville feel like home.

We’ve already delivered some birthday boxes around downtown, including stops at @maplehallknox @mastgeneralstore @visitknoxville @humblehogbbq — and we’re not finished yet! 🎁

we hit lucky number 13 last night on our quest to eat at every patio in @downtownknox and @oldcityknox , and I am armed with some very important notes that couldn’t fit in one insta story:

1. At least five random people walked by while we were there and simply said “Humble Hog” in funny voices. No context. No follow-up. Just “Humble Hog” and continued on their way. Modern art.
2. I didn’t realize the buns were corn pone when I ordered my sandwich and was concerned about pancakes. I am dumb, and corn pone is an inspired fucking choice. It also heats back up in air fryer like a crispy dream, as I discovered for lunch today.
3. Get the Brussels sprouts. Trust me.
4. As someone who routinely loses a fight with restaurant menus due to IBS and assorted allergy nonsense: nearly everything is gluten free, it’s all super allergen-friendly (not even high fructose corn syrup in the bbq sauce! I could eat it!!) , and it didn’t taste like any compromises were made. I felt great the rest of the night. Exhilarating.
