Another wild, wonderful & deeply meaningful @sundance.org!
Forever grateful for all the artists proudly rocking #ArtistsForPlannedParenthood pins & incorporating sexual & reproductive health issues into their stories.
Huge thanks to @impactloungeofficial for having me speak on their New Stories About Reproductive Health panel & to @inclusionists for interviewing me about my work w/ film & TV creatives, to @ebestinthewest for organizing the first-ever @thesolidarityhouse, to @jackizehner @_shemoney_ @utahfilmcenter @patmitchellmedia for #WomensVoicesForum & to @leahmeyerhoff @filmfatalesorg & to @mslaadyk @ericafishman @womeninfilmla for always having me to your events! Truly a joy & privilege to be part of so many powerful conversations.
Bittersweet #lastdance in Park City—made so much heavier by the world we’re living in. But, that’s why art, truth, bold voices & fearless storytellers matter more than ever. “ParalyzedByHope: The Maria Bamford Story” “The Brittney Griner Story” “Give Me The Ball” “Mum, I’m Alien Pregnant” “I Want Your Sex” “The Invite” @plannedparenthood #imforplannedparenthood 🎬✊

🎬 Meet the Producers 🎬

We’ve loved teaming up with the brilliant Story Drive crew (comprised of talented animators) to bring anonymous queer voicemail stories to life in this experimental short film! From their artistry to the seamless collaboration with our BluBird Post-Production team + producers, this project has been a true team effort.

We’re still in post, but every step is bringing us closer to something we’re so excited to share! Big love to the entire crew for making the process such a smooth, inspiring ride. Stay Tuned! 🖤

There are no words for how wonderful collaborating with the brilliant creatives at @FullSpectrumFeatures has been. Their knowledge, resources, support, generosity of time and mind, and presence continues to lift #SamWantsHerSweaterBack head and shoulders above where we could have imagine it. Not only is it such an honor to be among FSF’s inspired filmography but it’s an acute gift to now know all of these folks.

Shouting out a few: Luzzo (prod), Amy (prod), and Cherish (assoc. prod) got and have kept the train on the track in as many visible ways as invisible ways. There’s no doubt a list of intricate necessities which I still haven’t thanked them for. Humza’s mastery over numbers is like a magic trick. We cannot thank Jason (EP) and Eugene (EP) for welcoming us into the FSF fold.

Feeling so stoked to represent FSF in our festival run!

Had to post once more to shout out the incredible cast and crew of @dancingmonkey_film 🙌
This was my first experience shooting a feature and I couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of folks to share it with. Getting to know, hang out with, and create some dope art with our wonderful little family was such a joy. I miss you all. 🤗
