30 years in, and I’m all in ♠️

Life has been the biggest gamble: full of risks, lessons, setbacks, and wins that shaped me into who I am today. Every hand I’ve been dealt taught me something valuable, and I’m grateful for every moment, every person, and every experience along the way. Walking into this next decade with more gratitude, confidence, and purpose than ever before.

The chips are stacked… and I’m just getting started. 🎰🥂

I gave a shirt to a friend… just to give.

He ended up passing it to his cousin.

Didn’t think much of it.

Today, I walked into the gym and saw that same shirt again.

For a second, I was about to keep it moving…

but something in my spirit said turn back.

So I did.

We ended up talking… then praying.

What I didn’t realize in the moment was that two other brothers were already positioned nearby… witnessing and capturing it.

I didn’t plan this.
Didn’t set it up.
Didn’t even expect it.

And that’s when it hit me:

God doesn’t just assign moments…
He aligns them.

A simple act of giving turned into a moment I could’ve easily missed.

Stay sensitive.
Stay obedient.

You never know what God is setting up on the other side of your yes. #kingdomprinciples #seedtimeharvest

This was in my spirit when I woke up:

Don’t focus on what you see…
Focus on what God is doing behind what you see.

Father God, in the name of Jesus,

We thank You for renewing our minds today.

Your Word says to not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds—so Lord, help us as men and as fathers to see beyond what’s in front of us.

When life feels heavy…
When responsibilities feel overwhelming…
When situations don’t look like they’re changing…

Give us spiritual eyes to see what You are doing.

Open the eyes of our understanding.

Help us to see rivers in the desert.
Help us to see Your hand in the wilderness.
Help us to trust You even when we don’t understand.

Strengthen every father today—
According to Your Word, strengthen those whose hearts are committed to You.

Renew our minds.
Renew our spirit.
Align us with Your will.

So we can walk in authority,
Walk in discipline,
And walk in the purpose You’ve called us to.

Your Kingdom come.
Your will be done.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Apparently…It’s Friday the 13th and frankly..

A lot of people treat today like it’s cursed or unlucky.

But the real danger isn’t superstition.

It’s pride.

The Bible already warned us:

“Let anyone who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.”
— First Epistle to the Corinthians 10:12

Even King David fell when he got comfortable and stayed home instead of going to battle.

Pride, ego, and overconfidence have taken down kings, celebrities, and regular people.

I’m preaching this to myself too.

Stay humble. Stay alert.

Doing a whole bunch of life living outside of our little space on the internet so thought I’d drop some crumbs. Matthews been vlogging a lot so stay tuned for a huge announcement 🫣.

Got to share a meal with a different family every day of the week last week and it has blessed our souls. Community is everything. Witnessing Matthew preach is always a delight. Unlocking new small milestones with the littles will forever hug and break my heart, they’re growing so fast.

Read that again because..

See how easy it is to miss something when you’re not paying attention?

That’s how discernment works.

You walk into a room and something feels off.

You talk to someone and something doesn’t land right.

You’re praying about a decision and suddenly... silence.

Not random.

That’s the shift.

The Holy Spirit nudging.

The check in your spirit.

The peace that leaves before the problem shows up.

Most people ignore it.

Then wonder why everything fell apart.

Don’t be most people.

Pay attention to what feels different.

That’s not anxiety—that’s awareness.

It hits everyone. The father, leader. The entrepreneur, the student, the person in the gym, the new believer.

The GAP.

That frustrating space between the person you know you’re called to be and the person you see in the mirror today.

Between your big dreams and your current bank account.

Between wanting a powerful prayer life and hitting snooze instead.

You get a burst of motivation, you take a few steps... and then the gap feels wider than ever.

You feel stuck.

You feel like a fraud.

You ask, “Will I ever actually get there?”

Here’s the secret: You were never meant to cross that gap alone.

Willpower fails.

Motivation fades.

But there is a strength that never runs out.

There is a grace that meets you in the gap and builds a bridge right through it.

This is the core of my journey. I’m not a self-made man.

I’m a Christ-built man.

The vision for my life came from Him, and the power to walk it out comes from Him.

“I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished...” - Philippians 1:6

Your transformation isn’t about your ability to close the gap.

It’s about your willingness to surrender the journey to the one who can.
