9.21.24 Happy Birthday @trabates ! We all enjoyed high tea at Marlene’s Tea and Cakes here in San Diego. It was so beautiful. The tea was wonderful and everything we ate was delicious. It was so nice to see friends I
haven’t seen in person in years and it’s always a pleasure to meet new friends. The honey favors are from @kharacollective and I added a little love with my crocheted hearts that coincidentally matched our tea service settings. 🩷#hightea #teaparty #ladieswholunch ❤️🫖🍰

Introducing a new puppy into the home with a resident dog is like dating…😂

☺️It takes time to get to know someone new.

🩷Attraction can get stronger over time.

😘No kissing on the first date-maintain good boundaries.

😴Lots of downtime between dates to process how they’re going.

😵‍💫Not all personalities are a match!

😝Certain things just shouldn’t be rushed!

😙Sometimes you date for months and months before a true relationship or bond is formed.

Am I right? New dogs getting together in the home can be quite similar.

It takes time!
They need their space.
They need time away from one another.
You don’t want to rush the new relationship

Lola and Theo are several weeks into living together. For the first couple they were separated and carefully managed.

There’s a lot of new stuff happening for BOTH of them.

We also aren’t depending on Lola being the teacher- Theo is attending our Pawsitive Puppy classes so he can learn to play and have positive outlets with puppies his own age.

Do you have a new puppy?
New classes are starting in Jan! We’d love to support you.

DM/MSG us for info.

Does your dog love his ball? 🎾

Check out this fun hide and seek game for inside the house!

There are many ways to entertain your ball-loving dog without having to throw the ball again and again and again.

I know it seems like throwing the ball will tire them out physically but often times it winds them up mentally and you’re let with an overly anxious and stimulated dog.

Playing different games like hide and seek with the ball is a wonderful way to mix things up and reduce over-the-top anxiety behaviors from too many ball chucks.

Rudy LOVES his ball. This particular one is his favorite! 👏🏼

I taught him a fun skill of dropping his ball in a box or bin. So now we’re working on leveling up and going to find the ball wherever I hide it and bringing it to the bin.

Fun, right?!! Mental work with his favorite toy.🎾

Whenever you’re starting a game, start with the simplest answer for your dog!

After he got it right a few times, I changed the spot I hid the ball ( it was pretty much in plain sight but the location varied.)

He loves this game!

What’s your pup’s favorite indoor game?
