pov: when your besties surprise you with the most dreamiest baby shower 🥺✨

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to have a baby shower but my friends insisted on throwing me one and I’m so grateful, I still can’t get over how beautiful this day was, it was filled with so much love and happiness ❤️

From diy’ing all the decor, creating multiple excel spreadsheets, crafting a menu of my favourites and then going the extra mile to match it to the colour scheme, and then willingly capturing all the photos/videos of the day so I literally wouldn’t have to lift a finger at all, honestly, they did so much and I’m incredibly grateful to have friends that willingly wanted to go above and beyond and didn’t let me do a single thing other than show up 🥺

alhamdulillah ❤️

Finally met @hungryhiba @hibatariq in person after being online friends with her for about 8 years now, and she took me out for the best meal I’ve had in Toronto (yet), at none other than 1 @michelinguide ⭐️ @alorestaurant . Grateful to the team for obliging with a pescatarian menu (heavily focused on Japanese ingredients) that I enjoyed every bit of 💕 Thank you, Hiba 🤗
