Ciao Mercato famiglia ❤️

We’re almost there! Just waiting on a few final bits of equipment before we can really get going on the production side of things!

We’ve been super busy over the last week experimenting with recipes, taste testing and, if we’re honest, having a little bit too much fun in our dreamy new space ✨🥹

Over the next week, we’ll be doing more of the same alongside stocking up the store in anticipation of finally letting you all in 😅😍

A HUGE thank you to all the lovely people who’ve popped their heads in to see what we’re up to and wish us well! We’re already feeling so much love ❤️❤️

It's BANDCAMP FRIDAY

Our Bandcamp shop is open for business, freshly stocked with the new lathe-cut vinyl self-titled LP from @thexoxospunk (DIT-083)

Available in limited numbers of CLEAR (10) and BLACK (15), I added most of the stock at 0800 - and I'll return at 2000 to top up with a few copies I've held back so that people who can't get to a screen at 0800 stand a chance of acquiring a copy, as sales are expected to be brisk!

Also available - and officially released today - "Exploring the Relationships Between Buildings and the People That Use Them" pressed vinyl LP (DIT-082) from @dimitri_why_dont - BBC 6Music broadcast the opening track on their "BBC Introducing" programme last night.

IT’S OUR FIFTH BIRTHDAY 🎉

We can’t quite believe it but our little community has been around for five whole years and we figured that was something to celebrate. We enlisted the help of the very talented illustrator Abi, asked you all what your favourite Bird memories were and here’s the results.

To avoid excess stock we’re running preorders now until the 7th September so be sure to get your order in!

DEADLINE REMINDER!: 30th August 2026!

Sheffield Print Fair 2026 is happening at The Millennium Gallery, Sheffield Museums on Saturday 31st October 2026, and applications are now open!

We are offering 43 stalls at this year’s event for artists/printmakers and are now looking for applications from Sheffield and beyond; woodcut, mezzotint, linocut, screen-print, wood-engravings, digital prints, monoprints and more! We are also looking for people who are interested in doing a demonstration of their print technique (to whom we will offer a free table).

The event will run from 10am until 4.30pm, and will feature printmaker stalls as well as print demonstrations throughout the day.

This year we are being generously supported by print house @asapprint , screen-print wizards @hunkprint , online craft-selling gurus @folksyhq , Sheffield Museums and print-meisters @hawthorn_printmaker .

This year’s marvellous poster image has been created by the artist and printmaker @mickmarston_illustration .
