As the sun sets, the courtyard comes alive in a different way. The pool reflects the changing sky and pulls the lines of the home together, keeping everything grounded and calm.

The materials stay simple and natural—warm wood, smooth concrete, and soft plantings around the edges. Shade falls from the trees where it’s needed, and the open lawn gives the whole space room to breathe.

Even with its size, nothing feels overdone. The lounge, dining, and pool areas all flow together seamlessly, creating an open courtyard that’s built to be lived in—especially as the day winds down.

Mockingbird is taking shape—four distinct homes, each designed with the same guiding principles: low, deliberate rooflines, natural materials, and landscapes that bring softness and scale.

From the outset, the layout was intentional. Each lot is positioned for privacy while maintaining a sense of cohesion across the streetscape. Proportions, palettes, and details stay consistent, creating a shared architectural language without repetition.

In the evening, the design meets the desert light—silhouettes sharpening against the glow of the mountains, shadows stretching across courtyards and pools. The gardens and hardscape take on new tones, the architecture holding its presence without demanding attention.

Every element is planned with precision—spaces for light and air, pools for reflection and rhythm, and gardens that frame the architecture without competing with it. The result will be a community defined by clarity, restraint, and timeless design.

The four Mockingbird homes are four interpretations of the same guiding principles. Clean lines, natural materials, and landscapes that soften the architecture without obscuring it.

Each stands on its own, shaped by its site and layout, yet every detail—proportions, palettes, and transitions—follows the same restrained, deliberate approach.

From quiet courtyards to open lawns, shaded terraces to reflecting pools, each home offers its own rhythm while speaking the same architectural language. Together, they define Mockingbird as a place where precision and livability meet.
