Project Bee Cave | girls bath
Same footprint, completely reimagined.
A pink and white mosaic inset underfoot, one of my favorite ways to bring in something more detailed and give the space a distinct point of view. The shower picks up on that with a more expressive pattern, creating a dialogue between the two.

Hey Huntsville, guess where I just got back from? Austin, Texas - my other favorite place I've lived! I had an amazing time reconnecting with friends, celebrating milestones, and basking in support. It was an absolute dream.

But here's the thing, this trip made me reflect on controversial areas where Huntsville has room to grow and become the city it aspires to be. Maybe I can be part of that change!?

Don't get me wrong, there's plenty to love about Huntsville. I feel fortunate to have family and a home here. However, we could use more in HSV:

💙 Healthy food is a top priority. Being vegetarian doesn't equate to healthy if everything is fried!

We could benefit from more health-conscious restaurants. We need even more!

Let's throw in a juice place too. Austin has them on every corner, selling $15 bottles of juice!

💙 More yoga, please. We have beautiful yoga studios, but we need greater accessibility.

Imagine finding a yoga class near you whenever you want! There's both space and demand.

💙 Tap into our waterfront potential. Make it a hub for accessible waterfront activities.

Perhaps there are challenges, but it's worth exploring how we can make this happen.

💙 Time for a recycling overhaul. I'm baffled by the current state of recycling.

While I appreciate private companies, dealing with multiple and traveling is a hassle.

We should strive for a more streamlined process. Aren't we the biggest city in Alabama?

💙 Lastly, breakfast tacos! I hope @houndandharvest fills this void, but why not have more options?

Breakfast tacos are a delight that deserve to be savored throughout our city.

So there you have it, Huntsville. My thoughts on elevating our city. 😂 Let's open up the discussion! What are your thoughts?! Please share below 👇🏼

🐅KOREAN TIGERS🐅 This bed by @hunte.faflik.interiors has essentially broken the internet in IG and and Pinterest. I don’t think we need to wonder how. These ladies are some of my fave daring designers. @kranehome Tiger & Magpie in Carmine fabric looking even better than I could’ve ever imagined when I was carving and painting the tigers and the background. Hang tight we get to see this room with the bedding etc very soon! Korean tigers offer protection to those in the home. They are considered the spirit of the mountains and ward off evil, warn of danger. Basically if you don’t have my Korean Tigers in your home like @hunte.faflik.interiors client, then in this day and age WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!
