Congratulations To All FightHouse Athletes At States This Weekend!!! 🤼 . State championships were a success! In class 5 we had 2 champions and 3 placewinners out of 6 qualifiers . Special congratulations to Caleb Neal for becoming a 4x state champion with dominance in the 175lb weight class. He is looking forward to a great spring of national freestyle competition before he heads off to start his D1 career at Southern Illinois. . Also a special congratulations to Hunter Elliot who took home his first state title as a senior in the 120lb class. Hunter dominated his first two matches by pin, and then had two very gritty comeback wins against quality opponents to get his title. He would not be denied and executed the gameplan in the finals to perfection! . Freshman Reid Stoddard took 3rd place going 4-1 on the weekend losing in the last few seconds to the eventual champ. . Sophomore Sie Burkhead took 3rd place also going 4-1. . Sophomore Dylan Miller took 6th place at 175lbs, making the semis before losing to Caleb Neal. . Sophomore Josiah Fleming went 1-2 at 165lbs. . In class 6 we had one competitor, and he brought home the championship. A special congratulations to Hayato Otero who won his first state title as a senior. Hayato beat a 2x state champion in the semifinals. Hayato is a senior and going to pursue his D1 dreams at VMI. . Congratulations to everyone who accomplished their goals! Extremely grateful that our seniors went out with a bang! . Next weekend we look to make some more noise at Golden Gloves state championships and elementary and middle school states. 🗣️
