Let’s go on a walk (run) down memory lane & give you a little insight to who I am outside of running🚶

6 years ago I first visited this beautiful land & a year later I moved to Australia with @aylaanoble & needless to say we both didn’t think we would be saying that one day I would be an Australian citizen…so all I can say is thank you for giving me that opportunity, as if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be living here at all - I love you❤️

Australia has given me many first down the years, all of which at the time you don’t really acknowledge them as being your first time doing or seeing something but after taking time to reflect on the past, I have been incredibly fortunate to live here now for over 5 years, During this time I have seen many beautiful things but most importantly meet some amazing people along the way (all of which I couldn’t fit into one post). I’m also even luckier to spend time here with a few people I’ve known for over 15 years from my hometown Salisbury (29 if including mum + dad). All these people mean a great deal to me & I probably don’t thank them enough, for their friendship & simply for putting up with me, as I know can be difficult at times…so just know, I appreciate you all more than you could know!

Australia is also the first real place I committed to running & since then I have ran over 10’000km’s, ran 8 marathons & 1 world major in the process - I’m no better really than when I first started (I am really, I just am hard on myself) but I’ve learnt a lot about myself during this time & look forward to where this road may continue to go!

For now though, this road leads to home…Melbourne, Australia & Salisbury, England, one my adopted home, one my forever home…as the first dual British-Australian Citizen (that I know of) in my bloodline🇬🇧🇦🇺

(I will also stop being soppy online now for anyone who made it this far)
