AM10 Alumni Spotlight: @hunter.preston1

“Training with Alex was a very crucial part of my development as a college athlete. Alex was pivotal in sharpening my tools whether it be getting in and out of breaks, building confidence in my hands and my overall knowledge/feel for the game. Outside of the technical ability he brought a relentless work ethic, an unmatched enthusiasm for the game and was monumental in my faith journey. Couldn’t recommend Alex enough!“

Hunter was a relentless technician in the slot role. Before I met him he was often overlooked and hadn’t yet found his identity in himself as a player. Hunter grew so much as a player and a person in the time I spent around him. He developed into a confident leader on and off the field. Hunter had a solid grasp of techniques and good habits before I met him and only grew into it more so. His mindset shifted the most during our time and he became one of the most reliable players and people I’ve ever gotten to work with. His ability combined with his positive mindset, self belief, and selfless investment in the team set him apart. Not only as a player on the field but as a man, teammate and believer off of it.

During Hunters College Career he posted 103 receptions for 1095 yards and 10 TDs.

Hunter has since remained in Iowa, working in sales and continuing to pursue the best version of himself as a man.

Thank you Hunter for always pursuing your best on and off the field and pushing others around you to do the same.
