POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

An unforgettable Fourth of July in Ottawa. 🇺🇸❤️🇨🇦 So grateful for the opportunity to celebrate alongside friends and family. Thank you to Ambassador Pete Hoekstra and Diane Hoekstra for such generous hospitality. Happy Independence Day to all our American friends!

Graham may have “won” best shirt (ty @robertgrahamnyc ) but my Cornhole skills were outstanding! 🏆

Visited @cheznadtoronto and learned two things:

1. Steak frites should always be this good.
2. If Chef Nadège tells you to eat the lemon pavlova before the chocolate mousse dessert, you listen.

Merci for a lovely evening. 🇫🇷❤️

Happy Birthday to my “sister-in-love”, Heather Alloway.

Heather has spent a lifetime creating laughter, telling stories, curating family experiences, and loving on so many people. She has a gift for making you feel seen, in everything she does.

I wish you were on social media to see this Heather…but I’m sharing it bc you should be celebrated in every way.

Love you.

Happy Birthday @captjohnbarnes527 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Lightning strikes.
Engine fails.
Wayward coconuts.
Bruised egos.

Days where we caught nothing at all, and days where the boat was full before noon.

Somewhere between the storms, the teasing, the stories, and “just one more pass” you helped teach the boys how to be good men.

Patience. Humility. Resilience. How to lose well. How to win graciously. How to quiet a teasing older brother . 😂

And me? You taught me to grow alligator skin, know when to cut bait and run and laugh at myself.

These trips were never about the fish. 🤫 They were about becoming a family together on the ocean.

Some people don’t just guide boats.
They quietly help guide lives. 🎣

Back from a brief pause…and straight into two giant Permit, one surprise arrival, multiple birthday dinners, and a home opener. Family, unexpected joy and moments that felt like a gift. Life is funny like that. 🤍

An incredible night running in support of UNICEF Canada’s Run For Every Mind in partnership with lululemon 💙

Millions of young people are struggling with their mental health, often without access to the support they need. UNICEF is creating safe spaces, training teachers, and providing mental health and psychosocial care where it’s needed most.

Every step and every donation helps. See the link in our bio if you would like to donate.

Gratitude looks a lot like this: family, sweet potato casserole and the traditional food coma on the sofa.
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍂

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲, 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱.

September arrived with 72 hours of cluttered halls and fully occupied bedrooms; a reminder that endings and beginnings often walk through the same door. The front hall had chaos, and for once I didn’t tidy it away. I embraced it. Surviving back-to-school week…shouldn’t we all be adding that to our LinkedIn?

𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝟭: a walk through the door in leopard and pink, because the cooler winds came early.
𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝟮: one last family round of golf - a final swing before the nest emptied again.
𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝟯: the hallway clutter, proof they were here.
𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝟰: the bliss of having your whole pack home. 🐾

This time of year reminds me they aren’t mine to keep; they’re only on loan for a season. That’s why the letting go is always bittersweet, messy, beautiful, but necessary.

The Reapplication Principle: What Sunscreen Taught Me in Paris

Paris in summer is every bit as cinematic as you’d expect. The language lilts. The cafés spill onto sunlit sidewalks. And if you’re blessed (as I was) to be walking it all with someone you love, the magic only multiplies.

But this particular trip wasn’t about amour. It was about sunscreen. And grace. But mostly, it was about reapplication.

Read the full story: what sunscreen taught me about faith, now at bemagazine.ca ✨ (link in bio)

Happy Father’s Day to the one-of-a-kind dad our boys get to call theirs.

Graham, I’ve never witnessed a father pour himself so completely into his children the way you have. From fishing heroics and 5Ks, to birthday blowouts, glider trips, auto train insanity, vacation within vacations, curated projects for school, driving adventures, skateboard acquisitions and even archery playdates when Mom’s away, you’ve shown our boys a world full of love, curiosity, and adventure.

But more than that, you’ve shown them the character of their Heavenly Father with your patience, strength, wisdom, and quiet faith. They’ve seen you in victory and defeat and they’ve seen humility and playfulness. The greatest inheritance you’ll leave isn’t material… it’s the unwavering relationship you have with Jesus, and how you’ve lived it out in front of them. For that, I’m forever grateful.

“The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.”
— Proverbs 20:7

Your legacy is eternal, and your impact is already echoing through generations.
We love you, Graham. More than words.
