First dinner out with the Fam since March

Steak, ribs and burgers for the kids, and just sitting around the table together again. Such a simple thing, but one of those moments that means so much more after months of prep.

People see the stage and the end result, but they don’t always see the little things that come with it. The birthdays I missed out on celebrating with a piece of cake, the family dinners I couldn’t fully enjoy, and all those special moments that seem to revolve around food.

I’ve never once hated the process. I loved chasing this goal and everything that came with it, but I also know how much my family gave up and how much they supported me along the way.

So getting to share a cookie and then sit around a table, enjoy a beautiful meal and share that moment with all of them felt pretty special.

These are the memories I want to make just as much as the ones on stage. 🥹
