Grateful for another stellar weekend of racing and time spent with some truly incredible people. Not sure where this journey will lead, but the mission stays the same: becoming the best version of myself, both as an athlete and as a human.

Thank you @drinkdottir for the support & @capsizedmedia for the flics!

Benefits of Zone 2 training shown with data.

This is an awesome 6 month aerobic transformation from @hunterauch as he continues to climb Hyrox leaderboards.

Zone 2 training doesn't just improve your top end capacity, it makes you more effective at every pace leading up to your peak.

This level of adaptation doesn't happen overnight, it comes from hours and hours of volume. Hunter said he went from training 25 to 50 miles per week, mostly all at an easy pace (because you have to with that volume).

That low intensity has strengthened his heart, increased stroke volume, and also improved his body's ability to utilize oxygen, allowing him to run faster AND for longer.

Did he absolutely need a VO2 max test to know he's getting fitter? No, but having the receipts gives him more confidence in his training and helps him adapt his next blocks.
