We are so excited to welcome Hunter Hambrick and his family to our church family!
Hunter will be joining us as our new Executive Pastor, and we can’t wait to see all that the Lord has in store for this next season.
After moving from Colorado back to the 901, we’re excited to welcome them home! Be sure to say hello, give them a warm welcome, and keep their family in your prayers as they settle in and transition into this new season.
Welcome to the family, Hambricks! We’re so glad you’re here! 💛💛💛

Heading home after a fun and full week…. Little photo dump and rundown of all that happened…

Got to spend a couple days with some of my closest friends. Laughed a bunch, ate a bunch and am super thankful for long-term, life-long friendships. Easy, life-giving and fulfilling. Thanks for hanging @hunterhambrick_, @nicholasagardner & @cory_vanblaricom.

Had a blast at our New York location this past weekend @thelifechurchnewyork. Love being a part of a big, growing family all over the world! Always fun to hang with @waynefrancis and the team! (Not sure why @andylcarver missed church but oh well maybe next time).

Had the honor of speaking at Surge Conference in Baytown, TX at a great church @ffcbaytown. Huge thank you to @josh_joines, @kara_joines and @jeremiah_z for having me. Such a good couple of days.

Grabbed dinner in Austin with some old friends @jessepritchett and @bryanlarson. Love them both and we had a great time catching up.

Ready to be home and see the love of my life @brynnvanblaricom and my kids! Traveling is fun but there’s nothing better than HOME.

Choosing joy today was a battle. I know this will pass, I know this will all get better. But hearing that the governor is suggesting that children do not go back to school at all this year has been harder to wrap my head around than I thought it would be. Of course I don’t want to send them back prematurely when it wouldn’t help fight this nasty virus, I just feel so inadequate as their teacher. Jokes have been made about how much we should start paying our teachers, and while all of them are true, money can’t even touch the amazing work that our teachers do for our kids. At @jcseagles they receive so much more than a book education. They learn how to live a generous and selfless life, they are taught to never back down from truth/pursuit of excellence, they are taught how to show kindness in the midst of a fight/hard time... but best of all, they are being taught by all the amazing teachers and staff what it means to love Jesus and how to live that out in their studies, lives and relationships. I love our school. I love the support we all have been given by everyone there. Speaking as a fearful parent who is trying to teach my children things that I have forgotten years ago, or maybe never even learned 🥴, it is amazingly comforting to know that the teachers have my back, and they are ready and willing to help at any given moment. So today may seem completely overwhelming to me... but tomorrow is a new day... filled with new joys for me and my family to discover. One I know is already waiting for me is seeing how intentional and loving the teaching staff is for my girl every day! We love our Eagle family! #covid #homeschool #dontknowwhatimdoing #sendhelp #wevegotthis #somegoodnews #sgn #quarantine #shelterinplace2020 #weddingday #brideandgroom #kjoyphotography #kjoyphotographywedding #kjoyphotographybride #ilovemyjob❤️
