Save the date!!! @hunterjanephotography is offering mini sessions on the farm October 18th!

Five years ago, almost to the date, Shelby was behind her camera photographing my oldest boy’s first birthday 🥹

And almost five years ago to the date, I was also walking out of my corporate America accounting job for the very last time - closing the door on that chapter to devote my days to raising babies.

I had no idea what the next five years would hold. And now, here we are. 😭

Five years later, she is here again but this time, she’s coming to our farm and wants to photograph YOU!

A farm that, five years ago, would have been somewhere in our wildest dreams… while somehow also sitting right there in our very nearest future.

Holding it so dear that without even knowing it, she captured the beginning of a five-year chapter for us.

The babies grew.
The dreams grew.
The life I was stepping into that day became this one.

For her fall minis, our old porch will be overflowing with the most magical pumpkins from @simplypumpkins, surrounded by a fall installation created by me from pieces of this little farm we love so much.

And @hunterjanephotography will do what she has always done so beautifully - freeze a tiny piece of a season that somehow goes by far too fast.

Five years from now, these photographs will mean even more than they do today. I know that firsthand.
