yesterday hunt and i pushed ourselves and ran 13.1 miles together ✔️ 3 months ago, i struggled to get up, move, walk, do anything my appendectomy left lots of soreness and pain in my abdomen running sounded so painful and i was hopeful i’d be able to fully get back to where i was physically now 3 months later, 13.1 miles - even better than where i was before i feel so grateful for my body and its limits and abilities God is so gracious in creating miraculous ways to heal, recover, and grow time and time again ♡

took my favorite person back to my favorite place 🍓🌲 and got me pondering •• the gift of remembrance ••• it’s more than just recognition of something that’s happened in the past it’s intentionally reflecting and pondering on sacred and special moments that remind us of the goodness of God the word “remember” is used 137 times in The Book of Mormon- Another Testament of Jesus Christ it’s often used in the context of remembering God’s love, covenants, commandments, and past deliverances it is used by faithful prophets and parents who love their people so much, they want nothing more than for God’s words to pierce their souls forever that’s what the past months and this trip has been for me lots of time to remember- remember God’s love remember God’s grace remember God’s goodness remember God’s covenants with me remember God’s Hand in my life and it’s brought nothing but peace and joy to my heart, even through the ups and downs so when life gets tough, choose to remember ♡

march 14th, 2023 the first day the sun came out and stayed out for the whole day through on my mission in Portland, OR i vividly remember that day the feeling of having the rays of sunshine hit my face again was a feeling like no other the brightness was incomprehensible after so much overcast and darkness i almost cried tears of joy because i missed the sun so much ☀️ march 14th, 2025 the day i married my best friend the day the sun figuratively shined brightest for me the day the brightness of Jesus Christ was incomprehensible after so much overcast the day the rays of the Holy Spirit hit my soul so strongly knowing i am exactly where i need to be the day i cried happy tears because i get to be with Hunter forever it’s no coincidence march 14th is the day the sun has shined the brightest for me, both figuratively and literally God sends us all bright rays of sunshine just when we need it most 💛
