Free will is a crazy thing. You can literally wake up one day, choose documentary and get someone a home.

I’m not done yet.
This is just the beginning.
More docs coming soon.

I’m bringing together a bunch of local artist for a music/film festival on November 7th at The Oasis. If you’re into supporting local artist, food, drinks and live music I’d love for you to join. Link in my bio for tickets.

One year ago today—the craziest thing I’ve ever done…

And this is only the beginning! ❤️

If you’re just tuning in, my name is Hunter Knolmayer, and this is the most epic side quest!

I’ve lived my life as an artist as long as I can remember—

I’m an artist @remingtontattoo in San Diego, CA.

I’ve always felt blessed to be able to make a living creating art, and I found a way to “push the art” into the lives of kids who may not have the same opportunities.

September 8th, 2025, I pushed off from the Atlantic coast on my skateboard. I was leaving my hometown of Point Pleasant, NJ—heading to San Diego. 🛹

Over the course of 105 days, I traveled 3500 miles and stopped each day—to create an original acrylic painting. 🎨

By documenting the entire trip and sharing it on social media, we raised over $16,000 for children’s art supplies.

But that was just the beginning!

The Pushing The Art Foundation is dedicated to equip children with art supplies and has created an immersive gallery experience we’d love to share with you!

Last July, we held our “Painting Across America” gallery premiere @sdtattoosupply @sdbarbersupply:

🎨 112 paintings
🎧 Live DJ’s and community giveaway
🌮 Taco truck and refreshments
📲 Scan a code and access videos from each day of the journey, including making the artworks!
❤️ All profits from prints sold go directly to the cause!

We’re looking to showcase this collection in numerous cities to continue on our mission to raise $1 million. ❤️

Tag a gallery you’d like to see this exhibit at! 👇
Tag an organization we should partner with! 👇
Tag a friend who needs to see this! 👇
And a company who should sponsor us! 👇

We are always down to discuss partnerships with likeminded non-profit organizations, as well as schools; preferably working with underserved communities!

Thanks for the love and continued support!

Life Doesn’t Wait

3,500 miles. 112 paintings. 105 days.

There’s so much more to Hunter’s story. I wish I had the time to tell it completely. I’m honored to have had the opportunity to tell even a small part of it.

If I don’t post this now I’ll probably never finish it. Learning to show my work and love it for its imperfections is something I’m still working on.

Anyways — I hope you enjoy.

Spread love 🫶

This is where it all began… and it felt amazing to make it back to the starting point of an incredible journey!

I haven’t been posting much lately… After a solid year and a half of committing so much of my time and energy into the Pushing The Art Foundation, I took a moment to focus on my tattooing, painting, and fitness.

Not posting doesn’t mean that the mission has ended, we’re just getting started!

Last September, I embarked on a 105 day, 3500 mile skateboard trip cross-country. Each day, I created a new painting, and documented the journey. Together, we had the goal of raising money for kids art supplies.

After completing the skate journey, the next phase of the movement began; creating a gallery. With the help and guidance of my buddy Blake @maverickjack.art - we built frames for the over 100 paintings, and had the very first gallery premiere @sdbarbersupply @sdtattoosupply in San Diego.

This was a fundraiser event, with live DJ’s, a taco truck, & a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses. Thanks to everyone who came out, donated, and purchased prints- we raised even more money towards our hefty goal of a million dollars!

We’re still working towards locking in future gallery spaces to share with the world- the entire collection of “Painting Across America” and also making partnerships with more schools and organizations that resonate with our vision.

If you have a gallery you’d love to see this series of paintings at, tag them below! 👇

Schools, and non-profit organizations that could benefit from working with us- tag them below!👇

Love you all, and can’t wait to share with you what’s next!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the one-day-only premiere of Painting Across America. ❤️

🛹 Skating coast to coast
🎨 Creating a brand-new painting every day
🧒 Raising money for kids’ art supplies

It was an incredible evening that surpassed my expectations in so many ways.

Missed it? Don’t worry! More exhibitions are already in the works—and I need YOUR help!

As we prepare to take this collection on the road for longer installations, I’d love to hear where we should go next!

This isn’t just an art show—it’s an immersive experience.

🖼️ Every framed painting includes a QR code that takes you to the exact location where it was created during the 105-day journey.

🎥 Watch the skateboarding, landscapes, weather, challenges, and the creation of every single painting.

🗺️ Experience the 3,500+ mile coast-to-coast adventure through the artwork.

❤️ Best of all, every step of this project helps raise money for kids’ art supplies and inspires the next generation of artists.

I’m incredibly grateful to make a living creating art and to have experienced this once-in-a-lifetime journey. Now I want to share it with as many people as possible.

Because the more people who experience this project, the more lives we can help change.
