Fulfilling conversations at our Tuesday Night Bible Study and Pickle ball! ✝️🙏

Today at our Tuesday night Bible study and pickleball we read and discussed 2 Corinthians 7, Psalms 118, and Psalms 2 where a big topic of discussion was how God will discipline us like a loving father who wants us to grow. Just as God holds us accountable and tells us what we need to hear, us as followers should also hold each other accountable instead of encouraging sinful nature!

‭‭✝️ ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭7‬:‭8‬-‭9‬:
“I am not sorry that I sent that severe letter to you, though I was sorry at first, for I know it was painful to you for a little while. Now I am glad I sent it, not because it hurt you, but because the pain caused you to repent and change your ways. It was the kind of sorrow God wants his people to have, so you were not harmed by us in any way.”

Only 5 people? NO PROBLEM, we will always continue to bring glory to our lord and savior! ✝️🙏🌅

Today at our Tuesday night Bible study and pickleball we read and discussed Philippians 1 where we talked about how it’s not only a privilege to trust in Christ but to suffer for him as well, because in our suffering, it gives our faith the opportunity to grow!

‭‭✝️Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭29‬:
“For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him.”

On Tuesday, Revival NWI gathered for a night of Bible study and pickleball! 🏓🤍🎾

We finished our study through 1 Corinthians by reading chapters 15 and 16 together. We reflected on the hope we have through Christ’s resurrection and the importance of standing firm in our faith.

One verse that stood out was:

✝️ 1 Corinthians 15:58:
“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord.”

After our study, we spent time playing pickleball and volleyball, enjoying fellowship and building community together. We’re grateful for evenings spent growing in faith and having fun with one another. We can’t wait to see you tonight! ✝️🤍🌅
