the empowered breastfeeding shoot 🌳🪵
i wanted to participate in a shoot like this shortly after I had my son which was 3.5 years ago, but it never ended up transpiring. i knew that with this breastfeeding journey i had to make it happen, even if that meant i was the one to organize it - so that’s exactly what i did. with the help of my dear friend gabby as our photographer, she brought my vision to life and exceeded any expectations i had. my breastfeeding journey with my third baby has been the hardest yet and this photoshoot brought so much inspiration, empowerment, joy, and strength that filled my soul with the positivity I needed. these photos are absolutely stunning, but the best part of the shoot was the amazing women I was surrounded by and the conversations we were having. gathering together with other women who are passionate about breastfeeding and motherhood just like me was so special and encouraging! I have breastfed for a total of 46.5 months thus far with many more to go, not a day goes by that I’m not thankful/proud of the hard work that my body does to nourish my baby. even with the hard it’s so beyond worth it.
