𝐏𝐀𝐗 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 ✨
It finally happened, I broke that PAX cherry! 🍒

Hands down one of the funnest gaming events I’ve attended, so much so I forgot to take a lot more photos & videos. It was incredible to meet so many of you finally - between the convention floor, the excellent game preservation panel, breaks out on the grass & even a run in during a bathroom break - you’re all amazing ✨ Still missed a few people sadly but you can bet next year’s going to be even bigger 👏🏻

A huge shoutout to @huntressplays for helping me out with my first time in Melbourne in forever, this community is home to some of the greatest friendships.

Huge love for @rocketcommsanz for allowing me the opportunity to have a content creator badge & I can’t wait to return - 2027 will be huge! 🔥

pokopia is easily one of my favourite games of all time! 🌿

something I didn’t expect though was that it made me appreciate just how much effort goes into each pokémon’s design, and how many cool pokémon there are that I never really paid attention too. for example, this lil guy, ✨grubbin✨

@crankyeagle sent me an adorable grubbin pokémon card for my birthday & it made me want to collect every single grubbin card! 🥰 it was so fun to hunt for that I decided to start collecting cards again.. so lots of pokémon TCG content on the way 😌

Trails Through Daybreak II finished!
__
After around 180 hours, I'm one step closer to finally catching up with the Legend of Heroes series!
__
I haven't been posting here as often as I want but I'm still on my goal to finish all of the Legend of Heroes games!
__
Also, what the hell is going on right now with the gaming industry? While it is burning down even more so now thanks to @playstationau . I'm here 20 hours into Trails Beyond the Horizon, the next game in the series for me! 😳

Did you get a Steam Deck Controller? 🤔
__
I managed to get one before I headed to work the morning it was released. I didn't get any of the problems that others were encountering when they were trying to buy one. I simply clicked on the Steam page and then paid through my PayPal account.
__
I've used it for a day after getting back from our holiday and I'm enjoying it so far! I'm hoping that this encourages me to sit down and play in front of my PC more. 😅
__
How about you? Were you looking forward to the Steam Controller? How about Valve's other upcoming tech? The Steam Frame or the Steam Machine perhaps? ☺️

The perfect entry to these wonderful games! 👍
__
I am so glad to have this in my collection as the price of the original PSP copy is way out of my budget. But I did play the original on my PS Vita instead, which is still available on the PSN store.
__
How was your weekend? We have a long weekend here in Australia right now and I'm taking advantage of the time to make progress on Trails Through Daybreak.

New package from Japan that arrived yesterday! Just in time for my two days off work.
__
Here's a new addition to my handheld console family, the New Nintendo 3DS!
__
I got to be honest, this was both a panic and FOMO buy. I've always wanted to have one alongside my XL but the recent price hikes (again) have pushed me to get one. 😅
__
How about you? Have you owned or still own a New Nintendo 3DS? 🤔

My latest addition to my PC set-up! ☺️
__
I added this @8bitdo Ultimate 2 Wireless controller for my PC to help me play some of my Steam games on my desk.
__
Today was the first time I unpacked it and tried it with Super Woden Rally Edge, a new amazing indie rally game, and I know it's a perfect addition for my set-up! 💪
__
What was your latest gaming purchase? Let me know down in the comments! ☺️

I can safely say again that the Legend of Heroes series has been a big part of my life these past few years.
__
I'm currently still playing the 11th game in the series! The series has seen me go through key milestones of my life recently. Most noticeable, the COVID lockdowns, getting married, changing career, moving houses and now as a dad.
__
The series is definitely a core memory for my gaming, just like Metal Gear, Pokemon and Final Fantasy (maybe Counter Strike and COD 4 also)
__
If you could chose ONLY ONE Series, which of them had one impact on your gaming hobby?
