It’s an exciting day, y’all! @ftloveoffriends is on PBS!

For the Love of Friends is a feature-length documentary about activist Brent Nicholson Earle and the historic American Run for the End of AIDS that took him on a 20-month journey around the perimeter of the United States. Being in the stage adaptation of Brent’s life and helping to share this epic story has been such a joy and a privilege, and I can’t wait for people across the country to learn about this true American hero! Thank you again and again to @caraconsilvio, @alexcharner, and @hupproductions for bringing me into such an incredible project.

I can’t believe it’s been 3 years since the staged portion of “For the Love of Friends” had its run.

The production, and subsequent corresponding documentary of the same name, is about AIDS activist, Brent Nicholson Earle, and his American Run for the End of AIDS. 10,000 miles around the perimeter of the USA during the height of the AIDS crisis in the 80s to raise awareness and funds for his community.

I was honored to work under the direction of my friend and colleague @caraconsilvio once again, and to collaborate with the rest of the team and cast of relay runners - especially @brentnearle himself.

Our stories and history are vital to enriching our future and expanding our narratives. I’m grateful to be included in a community of artists that strive to do just that.
