DC @coach_swiff said I’m starting DT on the Dline this week. I was upset because I was Middle linebacker for so long and it felt like a downgrade. We had other people that can play DT. But he wanted me to do it. I was upset watching others play my position at practice while I’ll play DT. I had a conversation with my dad in his truck and he told me some real stuff. You need to get better no matter what GET BETTER. Not to get my position back but to better my skills on defense. If I’m so locked in on one position I won’t know what to do when I do switch in HS, College, or NFL. He wasn’t going to fight for my position back because at the end of the day it wasn’t a punishment he told me. It’s to get BETTER!!! He said kids and their parents get so hung up on focusing on ONE position they forget youth ball is about discipline and development. we are only 12. He said. GET BETTER he just kept repeating because he knows I’m not at my best. I still got reps at LB so I knew it wasn’t forever. I just know I still have a long way to go. Anyway I had an amazing game at DT. Just know. I’m getting BETTER !!

P.s I had other players wanting to play DT at the game due to all the action we was getting. 😂😂

Force Fumble
Fumble recovery
Tackle for Loss
And a couple more I can’t show. (Opps still watchin)😎

The objective is simple. "When we listen we win" it's a pleasure having such a great team. Now back to the development for next week. Shoutout to all my players, families, and coaches. I couldn't do it without any of you.
