🙌🏊‍♀️ Congrats to everyone who competed in championship meets this summer! From MRCs to Zones and everything in between, Minnesota brought the heat 🔥 in the pool. So much fast swimming this summer!

I don’t know how my shoulders have survived 5 years of D1 distance swimming when I take 18 strokes per length but I am proud to announce I am retiring with no shoulder injuries!!

Thank you to my wonderful teammates and coaches that have made the last 11 years worth waking up at 5:42am to walk in the cold and swim 7 grand, an extra thanks to my MKE D-Crew for keeping me humble. And of course my parents for always being my biggest fans!

Now I have some questions for my new swim free life:
When am I supposed to shower/ wash my hair? I’ve done this based off practice for so long idk when now
What am I supposed to do with my ability to know exactly how long 5 seconds is?
Will my shoulders stop clicking? (I don’t have a shoulder injury, they just do that)
How do I workout without someone telling me exactly what to do?

I’m so excited to announced my decision to further my academic and athletic career at Luther College! Thank you to all my coaches, family, friends, and teammates for supporting me throughout my swim journey. I’m so excited to start this next chapter in my life! Skol Norse!! 💙
