a senior this year who loves flag football and track. She has been timed at 25.4 in the 200. @cherish.merino.sports ( there pics to open the videos, lots of video footage, videos are short) Her flag team is the top team in #1 Washington State they went 28-0 and she was voted 1st team all conference for Blitzer/ rusher. She also plays WR and RB and LB as well in defense. Grade 12 Blitzer, WR Outside of flag football, I love staying active, whether that’s running track or playing other sports. I also really enjoy music, singing, fashion, and photography. I love being creative, expressing myself, trying new things, and spending time with my family and friends. Flag football is more than just a sport to me. It’s something I genuinely live and breathe. I love the adrenaline, the competition, and especially the feeling of making a great play. There’s no better feeling than stepping onto that field, being confident in myself, winning and getting along with my teammates and showing what I’m capable of. The game brings out a different side of me, and that’s what makes me love it so much. I’d like to thank my Dad, my mom, my dog, my cousin Kahmila, my Coach Zee and Coach Jacob. If only the little girl who started playing football in kindergarten could see this moment. Through every season, every challenge, and every step of this journey, the love for the game never changed. Now I get to take that same love to the University of Nebraska. ❤️🌽 I want to thank my parents for all the sacrifices they’ve made for me and for being by my side through it all. I want to thank my friends and family for their support and never ending love throughout this journey. I also want to thank my coaches, especially Coach Smith @__livingtheeantlife , for believing in me and guiding me. Thank you to Coach Liz @lizsowers3 and Coach Katie @katesowers5 for this amazing opportunity. Lastly, I want to thank God for giving me strength through each challenge I’ve faced. Go Big Red‼️

🚨 COMMITTED | ANIYAH STEWART IS ILLINOIS ELITE 7v7.🚨 Illinois Elite just added a serious weapon to the 2027 roster. Aniyah Stewart, a 6’0” wide receiver from West Aurora High School, brings the kind of size, speed, athleticism, and explosiveness that can change a game in one play. She is a matchup problem on the outside, a true multi-sport athlete, and someone who already knows what it means to compete at a high level. With multiple college basketball offers already in hand, Aniyah is now expanding her opportunities even further by adding elite flag football exposure to her recruiting profile. She will also compete this spring with the Illinois Game Time National Basketball Team, giving her another national platform to showcase her ability. Now the opportunities get even bigger. 🏀 Multiple basketball offers 🏈 Expanding flag football opportunities ⚡ 6’0” WR with speed and athleticism 🎓 Class of 2027 📈 More exposure. More options. More doors opening. College coaches...remember the name and watch #3. Aniyah is putting herself in position to have choices at the next level...on the court and on the field, or both. #IllinoisElite7v7 #collegeflagfootballtrecuiting #westaurorahighschool #girlsflagfootball
