I think my definition of taking it easy is a little different. 😂

Somewhere along the way, running mountains, lifting heavy things, and signing up for ridiculous challenges became my idea of a good time.

Anybody else have a hard time explaining their hobbies to normal people? 💀😂

Strong AND fast. Why choose? 💪🏽🏃🏽‍♂️

HYBRID training isn’t about going all-out every session. It’s about building strength and endurance while managing fatigue and giving your body time to adapt.

Lift with purpose. Run with intention. Recover to perform.

Train smart. Build both.

What’s your biggest challenge when balancing lifting and running? 👇🏽

Built for more than one kind of challenge. 💪🏽🏃🏽‍♂️

I don’t want to just be strong in the weight room or have endurance on the road. I want both.

That’s the beauty of HYBRID training. Building a body that’s strong, conditioned, and capable of performing in different environments.

Shoutout to the crew over at @elevatedhp for continuing to push the standard and surrounding me with athletes who share that same passion.

Different disciplines. One mindset. Keep evolving.

Who’s embracing the HYBRID lifestyle?

Apparently, I’m not the only one with fitness goals around here. 😂🐾

No training plan needed. Just fresh air, good company, and unlimited energy.

Might have to put my training partner on the payroll!

There’s nothing wrong with moving your body simply because it feels good.

But if you’re working toward a specific goal, having a plan makes all the difference.

Training brings structure, intention, and a way to measure progress.

Both have value. The key is knowing what you’re working toward.

Are you exercising or training for something specific?

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned about training is that you don’t have to go all out every single day to make progress.

Some sessions are meant to challenge your limits. Others are meant to build your foundation.

Easy runs have a purpose. Heavy lifting has a purpose. Recovery has a purpose.

Learning when to push and when to pull back is part of becoming a better athlete.

The goal isn’t to win every workout. It’s to keep improving over time.

Train with intention. Respect the process.

Do you struggle more with pushing yourself or knowing when to back off?

There’s a difference between running hard and running with intention.

Today was about patience, control, and trusting the work.

Started at 10:00/mi and finished at 7:08/mi. 10 miles, with every single mile faster than the last.

No rushing the process. No chasing numbers too early. Just staying disciplined, finding my rhythm, and finishing stronger than I started.

Sessions like these remind me that progress isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about learning to execute better.

Grateful to GOD for the strength, the health, and another opportunity to keep growing.

Train with purpose. Execute with patience. Let the work speak.

🏃🏽‍♂️ Runners, what’s your approach to a long run, steady pace or progressive finish?

Somewhere between the noise of everyday life and the rhythm of my footsteps, everything starts to make sense.

Life comes with responsibilities, challenges, and moments that demand more of us.

Running gives me space to process it all. To reflect, to appreciate, and to keep growing.

But finding peace doesn’t mean taking it easy. There’s still a purpose behind every mile and a standard I hold myself to.

Physically pushing. Mentally resetting. Spiritually grounded.

Grateful for another day, another opportunity, and the strength GOD continues to provide.

The journey continues. 🏃🏽‍♂️

Some days the miles come easy. Other days, you have to earn every single one.

10 miles today. Not every step felt good, but every step had a purpose.

Still chasing 100 miles this month. Still showing up. Still grateful that GOD gives me another opportunity to put in the work.

Progress isn’t always pretty, but it always starts with showing up.

One day at a time. One mile at a time.
