First “market” recap!

I was baking the day away and right after the last loaf was baked and out of the oven, I learned that the market tomorrow had been canceled due to high chances of a very big storm/rain coming our way. Instead of beginning the process for the bagels and oatmeal cream pies, I decided quickly get the word out, package the loaves, and set up shop at the neighborhood park this evening. Friends and neighbors showed up and my loaves started selling! It started raining out of nowhere and the weather sent us back home where we finished selling loaves to the people who hadn’t made it to the park yet. Within 2 hours they were sold out!! I met and connected with some new faces, and I was able to spread the word about my new sourdough business! Although the market didn’t work out we made the best of it and had so much fun! So grateful for my community and friends who came and showed their support!

And a big thank you to my husband for encouraging me to get this business started. My mother, father, and sister in law who made a trip to us to support and help hold down the fort while I prepped and baked! As well as my parents and siblings who called along the way with excitement for updates! I couldn’t have done it without you!

Here’s to a new adventure! If you or anyone you know lives in the flagstaff az area send them my way!🤎🍞
