First week back and still finding your feet? That’s part of the process too. 👀

As we welcome students back to Central Saint Martins, BA Fashion Design 2026 graduate Harley Angrabeit @hxxacism (@bafcsm) shares what she wishes she knew when starting out: stop questioning yourself so much, allow room for mistakes and trust where your ideas take you.

Harley’s work Ridley Road is currently on display as part of process at the Lethaby Gallery, an exhibition exploring the thinking, experimenting and making that happens behind the final outcome.

Her advice? “Don’t look at what’s going on around you. Just follow your path.”

For the first time, the 2026 @bafcsm show left its Granary Square home behind. Instead, it took over the upper decks of Peckham Levels, a former multi-storey car park in south London. 40 graduating designers across womenswear, menswear, knitwear and print each presented six looks, creating roughly 240 looks in procession of personal histories, obsessions and ambitions.

Collectively, their garments became fairytale-like takes on the autobiographical, revealing a cohort unafraid to draw from deeply personal experiences, whether that meant confronting grief, revisiting childhood memories, questioning ideas of home, or finding humour in everyday life. That willingness to challenge boundaries has long defined Central Saint Martins, but this year’s graduates seemed particularly committed to expanding the possibilities of what fashion can and should communicate. The result was a portrait of a generation unafraid to wrangle personal experiences within wider social realities.

In their post-show high, Wonderland catches up with 11 of the designers to chat collection inspirations, study reflections, and post-graduate aspirations. Hit the link in the bio to read more.
