FOR OCTOBER, KELTX INTRODUCED A NEW CATEGORY FOR 9–11-YEAR-OLDS, GIVING THE NEXT GENERATION THE CHANCE TO TAKE ON THE RACE AND EXPERIENCE THE ATMOSPHERE OF EVENT DAY.

SEVEN HYBRID HUB ATHLETES TOOK PART, BUILDING ON THE FOUNDATIONS DEVELOPED THROUGH OUR TWO GEN CLASSES, WHERE PARENTS AND CHILDREN TRAIN TOGETHER.

IT’S ABOUT GETTING YOUNGER GENERATIONS MOVING, BUILDING CONFIDENCE AND SHOWING THAT FITNESS CAN BE SOMETHING THE WHOLE FAMILY ENJOYS.

BRILLIANT TO SEE SEVEN OF OUR YOUNGEST ATHLETES GETTING STUCK IN AND REPRESENTING THE HUB.

In July I sat on the floor of RCS post relay in 30 degree heat, saying I’d never do it again, exactly 100 days later we showed up and raced as a doubles. The race I never thought I was capable of. A partner I couldn’t have done it without @natalie_g_hart and realising we’re actually pretty good at this stuff! This doesn’t show, the pain, the tantrums, the stitches, the injuries and the tears that went into and made up this race day (and that’s just on me). Big up @keltx_uk for making the most incredible race ⭐️ now to sleep for the next week 💤💤

What an incredible weekend @keltx_uk firstly volunteering as a judge which is always amazing then racing today with the wonderful and super talented @agathaefit

WE WON 🤩🙈. Thank you @johnhiscock_coach for being the most amazing match maker, seeing my potential and putting us together 🫶.

I did my first hybrid race earlier this year, it’s really difficult to see and acknowledge your own potential, I’m slowly getting there with the help of the amazing community around me @hybridhubnqy (thank you guys 🤩🫶)

An athlete recently came to me and said ‘I want to make it to the games’

For some, success comes earlier than others.

For me, it took me 7 years to qualify for my first CrossFit games, and another 5 to make it to a second.

12 years of work to prove it wasn’t just a fluke.

Moral of the story;

If you have aspirations of realising your potential, be in it for the long haul.

Pro tip - having an epic team and community around you makes the work a little easier 🫶🏼
