It’s one of your body’s built-in defense mechanisms, helping coordinate the response to injury, infection, and cellular stress. The problem begins when that response doesn’t fully resolve.

Hydrogen water sounds like another wellness gimmick…

But molecular hydrogen (H₂) is actually being studied for something pretty interesting: its potential effects on oxidative stress, inflammation, mitochondrial function, and cellular signaling. 🧠⚡️

And that’s why it has my attention.

I’m always interested in tools that may help support the environment the brain and nervous system need to function well — especially when there’s emerging research worth following.

Here I’m actually inhaling molecular hydrogen while talking about why I’m interested in hydrogen-rich water. 💧

Is it magic? No.

Is it a replacement for sleep, movement, nutrition, sunlight, and the fundamentals? Absolutely not.

But as an adjunct to those foundations, molecular hydrogen is one area of emerging research I’ll continue watching closely.
