We flew to Rome to collaborate with my favorite anime 🖤

The @steady_hands x Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Requiem Collection is LIVE on our website

Back in August, I got the once in a lifetime opportunity to fly to Italy with two of my favorite people on the planet to shoot our promotional material for our second Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind collection. I feel like I can’t properly describe the amount of love and joy I experience every time my career overlaps with my favorite piece of media but to be able to fly to Italy- am I being euthanized? What was even more special is that I got to shoot this with my bestley Wesley as a duo which RARELY happens with how busy we are as a team. Being part of the Steady Hands creative team has been the best year of my life and I’m so excited for the many MANY more years and projects to come. This is literally only the beginning 🥂
.
In short, I really love my job, my team, and JJBA.

@animeink_con 2026 🖤

Still recovering from this weekend. Got to tattoo some of my favorite little weirdos, meet so many insanely talented artists, and spend a few days completely surrounded by people who love this shit as much as I do.

So grateful to everyone who stopped by, got tattooed, traded with me, or just came over to talk. And especially to all the artists I got to meet and learn from this weekend. You guys made my first Anime Ink one I won’t forget.

had a long and tiring weekend at @animeink_con ! tbh it didn’t go as well as I was hoping in terms of business but it’s still good experience & I had some fun times with the team!! and it was a lot of fun seeing my old friends/ co workers @jongilberttattoos & @nitelite.tattoos ! and I got to reconnect with and tattoo an old friend who lives in the area too! @haliepugh plus it was a great excuse to do my makeup & put on a cute outfit. 😌 I’ll post the pics of the tattoos I did separately. I’m so thankful for this crew! ♥️🫶

t’s funny how a handful of photos can hold so much history.

Doing each other’s hair before work. My first convention as an apprentice. My first convention tattooing beside you. My first tattoo on myself, with you coaching me through every shaky line.

Somewhere between all of those moments, you became so much more than my mentor.

Tattoo artists spend their lives leaving their marks on people. The older I get, the more I realize the deepest ones aren’t always made with ink. Sometimes they’re made through patience, encouragement, honesty, and believing in someone long before they believe in themselves.

You changed my life in ways I’ll probably spend the rest of it trying to repay. Every tattoo I do carries a little piece of what you’ve taught me, and every milestone I reach has your fingerprints on it.

I hope this next chapter gives you the same gift you’ve given so many others. Time to create for yourself again. To fill sketchbooks instead of appointment books (though full books are cool, too.). To remember what it feels like to make art just because you love it.

Happy 29th, Sarah. Thank you for taking a chance on me, for making me a better artist, and an even better person. I love you. ❤️

My first tattoo.
