His dad captained two legendary steel bands. Today, he’s the man behind the Jab Ice riddim 👀🇬🇩 QT 2Hype grew up with music all around him. He played drums and sax as a youngster, still plays tenor pan for Metronomes Steel Orchestra, and has spent 35+ years learning exactly what moves a crowd. That’s why his riddims are built for the road 🔥 From giving Triniboi Joocie his first power tune on Bang Riddim back in 2010 to this year’s Jab Ice and Wuk Up Again riddims, he’s worked with Lavaman, Jab King, Problem Child and many more, including Merzy and Vibez King from this series. And he’s still passing it on, mentoring the next generation coming up behind him 💐 Which QT 2Hype riddim gets you moving first: Jab Ice, Wuk Up Again or a classic like Bang? 👇🏽 Swipe to slide 5 and tag any artist you spot! 🤿 Would you follow the line inside? Wreck penetration changes everything. Once an overhead separates you from the surface, recreational skills alone aren’t enough. Training, buoyancy, trim, propulsion, gas management, guideline procedures, team communication and situational awareness all become critical. Inside a wreck, every movement matters. ⚓ The goal isn’t simply getting in—it’s maintaining the discipline, training and awareness to get the entire team back out. Explore with purpose. Dive within your training. Respect the wreck. 🌊 👇 Wreck divers: What skill do you consider MOST important for penetration diving? #scubaduck #islandtimeaquaticadventures #Grenada #nursesthattravel

🤿 When does recreational diving stop being enough? Sometimes you find the right group of divers, the right wrecks, and the right destination—and the technical diving fun begins. ⚙️🌊 There’s something different about watching an experienced CCR diver move through a shipwreck: no rush, minimal bubbles, precise movement, and an entirely different way to experience the underwater world. This isn’t about going deeper just to say you did. It’s about training, experience, equipment, planning—and having the skills to explore environments that demand more from the diver. Grenada gave us the wrecks. 🇬🇩 The rebreather gave us the silence. The team made it an adventure. 👇 Technical divers: CCR, doubles, or both—what’s your preferred setup for wreck diving? #scubaduck #islandtimeaquaticadventures #Grenada #nursesthattravel

🤿 Which of these Grenada wrecks would YOU dive first? A huge shoutout to Aquanauts Grenada and instructor @hyenajab for an unforgettable long weekend of world-class wreck diving and incredible hospitality! 🇬🇩⚓ From supporting our closed-circuit rebreather and doubles divers to getting our crew onto some of Grenada’s most legendary wrecks, these guys helped make one serious dive weekend happen. ⚓ Persia ⚓ King Mitch ⚓ Hema ⚓ Anina ⚓ Veronica L ⚓ Shakem ⚓ Tyrell Bay ⚓ Bianca C Eight wrecks. Technical configurations. Great people. One incredible Caribbean diving destination. This is why we don’t just visit Grenada—we explore what’s beneath it. 🌊 Thank you, Aquanauts and @hyenajab, for taking care of our divers and helping us create another Island Time adventure worth remembering! #scubaduck #islandtimeaquaticadventures #Grenada #nursesthattravel

🤿 WOULD YOU MAKE THIS DIVE? Today, Island Time Travel & Aquatic Adventures took some of our most adventurous divers beneath the surface of Grenada for a training experience they won’t soon forget—the legendary Bianca C. 🇬🇩⚓ The mission wasn’t simply to go deep. It was to experience depth, remain aware of the potential effects of nitrogen narcosis, communicate as a team, and demonstrate that great diving requires more than courage—it requires training, awareness and respect for the ocean. Then came the reward. Out of the blue emerged the massive silhouette of the Bianca C. Descending alongside this legendary shipwreck is one of those moments when you realize why you became a diver in the first place. We explored. We learned. We challenged ourselves. And we came back with a story. Because some people travel to see the Caribbean. We travel to discover what’s underneath it. 🌊 👇 Divers: Would the Bianca C make YOUR bucket list? #scubaduck #islandtimeaquaticadventures #sandalsresorts #Grenada #nursesthattravel
