Light is the detail that changes everything 💡✨

Quietly perfect. The kind you stop noticing because it just belongs.

Graphic but warm. Geometry that doesn’t try too hard.

The clamp lamp, reconsidered. Familiar concept, elevated execution.

Soft light, softer silhouette. Hard to place badly.

Sculpture and light source in one.

Poetic name, poetic light.

Unexpected. The one that starts conversations.

Bio-based materials, organic texture. Sustainable without announcing it.

A sculptural object first, a lamp second.

The reference. Everything else is in dialogue with this one.

Light is the detail that changes everything.
Save this list for your next project.

I was invited to Scandinavia’s biggest design festival expecting beautiful furniture.

Instead, everyone was talking about trash.

Coffee shells became collectible objects.
Electronic waste became design pieces.
Old aircraft components and pharmaceutical waste found their way into interiors.
And some designers are now growing materials using mycelium and bacteria.

The biggest takeaway from 3 Days of Design?

The future of design might not be about creating new materials, it might be about reimagining the ones we already have.

Would you live with furniture made from waste materials?

👇 Tell me yes or no.

Here they are! My 5 ♻️ favorites from @3daysofdesign.
@stefanieboehnert and me always try to use 2nd circle furniture as often as possible. Still round about 30% is new at the moment. And for this number we use products and work with companies that follow sustainable and circular principles.

I’m still digesting the experience of these shimmering days at @3daysofdesign ✨
What an experience it was to participate for the first time together with @scandinaviandesignembassy .
Setting up at the Finnish Embassy made it even more memorable. Such a beautiful building and an extraordinary interior setting throughout the event. Presenting our installation, Compassing the Table, in a beautiful room surrounded by tactile linen and wool textiles woven by @lapuankankurit felt incredibly special.
These three days were filled with inspiration, conversations, new encounters, and that unique atmosphere that makes 3daysofdesign feel so special. It was wonderful to meet so many Scandinavian brands, designers, and entrepreneurs, and to connect with people from different places and perspectives.
