Trackdaybro feels from @llandowcircuit earlier this month, take me back.

Such an amazing weekend with a wonderful group of people who all properly know how to wheel, no red flags all day and lots of close battles. Can't wait to do it all again.

Big thanks to @moca2cv from @formula.g for organising the day and getting this group together. ❤️

What an incredible experience to have competed at @quick60challenge! This was my first ever competitive motorsport event, and in the lead up - I’ll be honest - I was super anxious about the whole thing, but wow what an introduction to this side of competition! I had the best time, but unfortunately wasn’t quick enough to progress through the first elimination round, coming 6th in class. I’ll be back next year though, with more seat time under my belt 😈

It was an honour to represent @pitstop.social on track, such a great community doing great things, and happy to do my bit to spread the love and hopefully help some people in some small way through their mental health journey.

Thanks to everyone who has helped get me here, and to all who came to watch and say hi! It was a whole lot easier knowing how many friends I had out there!

Thanks to my fellow competitors and also the @formula.g drivers for the hints, tips, encouragement and generally just being a good craic, great to see such a good atmosphere in the paddock.

And of course a massive thanks to the organisers, they did a fantastic job of keeping things moving, and of course @adamwellercomms on the commentary!

More to follow - including: “So. You want to be a racing driver.”

The 2024 Formula G season truly gets under way this weekend at Santa Pod. Here are some behind the scenes shots of the sort of thing we can look forward to from our Learn 2 FG event earlier this year. We can’t wait to get stuck back into it!

Really happy with how the MR2 performed at Curborough last week. My second track day on the @falkentyres ZE310s, and once again they really impressed. But let’s not just do anecdotal - the @racebox.pro registered maximum cornering force of 1.26G (compared to 1.33 last year on @toyotires_uk R888R), and maximum braking force of 1.12G (vs 1.19G last year). Considering the tyres are half the price of decent track semi-slicks, they perform way better than they should. I’m hoping they get added to List 1A 👀

I think now that I’m comfortable with the setup, it’s time to start experimenting with the shock and arb adjustments to see if I can find some tenths.

Honorable three-way MR2 tōge battaru at Curborough! Powered by three different engines too. Can you guess them? (Out of shot — you guessed it — another MR2! Darn lil fellas are multiplying!) 🐸🐸🐸🐸

Bonus slide: MR2 pilot @hyper_octane puts his GCSE chemistry kit to good use and knocks up a lil trackside cold brew🧋

@hyper_octane home-roasted some beans and gave me a sample so I banged on some metal in his honour and brewed some of his coffee in the Clever Dripper

MURDER MYSTERY II: 2 Fast 2 Murderous.

What started as a bit of a weekend jolly has now become an annual tradition & the highlight of the year. I’ve been with two families this week, and I couldn’t be prouder to call this beautiful, magazine-ready bunch of 20 idiots my London one 💙

Back in Blighty after a fab fortnight in Victoria. Too many good moments to list them all so just a few here: Victoria's harbours, building lego with Harry's son, visiting Canada's oldest Chinatown and making noodles, seeing dear old friends @jack_tharp and @arsanbahrami from my time in Shanghai, catching and cooking coho salmon, going North American with coffee and donuts and hockey tops, and getting to spend a lot of time with @hyper_octane and @harrisonkurk.
The three of us met 30 years ago in our first year of primary school, different secondary schools, then for a while in our 20's different continents (Australia, Canada, China). Roll on the 40th reunion, tho after the great time of the 30th I reckon we'll be back a few times before then...

Over in BC with Haris to visit Harry and fam, and celebrate 30 years since the three of us became pals in primary school. Out on the Pacific fishing an all-timer of a great day, stunning scenery and 3 big ole salmon for the weekend 😎
