I woke up today and realized I wasn’t dreaming…

This was my first camp, my first time collaborating in this way, and I am overflowing with joy.

Two days. One room. Four amazingly talented, super dope creatives. 🤯

Not to mention, connecting with all of the other incredible creatives at camp and sharing genuine moments together was truly a blessing. It was also a huge reminder of just how important community and collaboration are in music.

I want to thank @writeonjas , @genderamplified , @hyperballad_music music, @eboniesmithmusic , and everyone who made this experience possible.

I’m beyond grateful, feeling inspired, and ready to keep this momentum going.

Let’s go!!!! 💪🏾❤️

This year I attended my first NAMM Show where I met my mentor Jasmin Benward and since then I’ve been interning with her through @_createtheroom Create the Room and MAP Belonging @mapbelonging . Since starting in April I’ve already had opportunities that are genuinely changing my perspective on music community and what is possible for me in this industry

Most recently I spent 4 days in Brooklyn observing learning and even playing a little trumpet on a project with my mentor 👀

Brooklyn reminded me what real community feels like music everywhere deep conversations hugs from strangers in subway stations getting lost more times than I can count and somehow always ending up exactly where I needed to be

I came back more inspired more focused and more certain about my purpose in music and the business behind it. Being around so many intentional creatives reminded me how important spaces like this are and how badly I want to continue learning growing and creating opportunities for others too

A huge thank you to my mentor Jasmin Benward for believing in me pouring knowledge into me and giving me opportunities that are genuinely changing my life. Thank you for allowing me into these spaces and showing me what community creativity and belonging can truly look like in action

Huge shoutout to Hyperballad Music. Soul, Yohana and everyone involved for creating such a beautiful intentional and welcoming environment

Also MAP Belonging is hosting an immersive poetry gallery on Saturday June 13 2026 at 1921 McDonald Ave Brooklyn NY 11223 sponsored by the @stophatenyc and the @nycchr . This is more than an event it is a celebration of storytelling creativity healing and community. It does not matter what borough you are from or if you are from the Midwest belonging is for everyone 🤍

I truly hate that I am going to miss it because I already know it is going to be something special

Now let me plug these pictures real quick 😭🔥
