The stars really lined up for this cool night with warm company, fiery food, and constant celebration. Despite all the darkness, I'm resolving to feel every chance for gratitude, connection, and growth. What's good, 39? 📷: @troyneliousq

Biannual Beats surprises with this momentous new effort from Texas’ spectral-psychedelic darlings The Justins (the sensational collaboration between modular/saxophonist Justin Bernard Williams and synthesist Justin Alvarado) - “The Justin Egg Arc: II” Continuing the towering, multi-volume saga where we left off - This series of meticulously melted compositions serve to further engross listeners in a sonic-spiritual narrative emergent in form, and enormous in heft. Williams’ resynthesized horns sputter and proclaim fanfare into Alvarado’s cloud-wall of synthesizer refractions both diaphanous and volcanic. The perfect space to take in this pure art should be a living room or nature preserve - either way, headphones are encouraged. “The Justin Egg Arc: II” Our duo luminaries issue forth Survey cast outward upon the deathless lenticular and cumulus Pressing on into fogs these creeping steps through mist Along an ancient route we follow until the basal orbed insight strikes A pure smite “The Justin Egg Arc: II” is out now on the Biannual Beats bandcamp page, and available everywhere. . . . . . . . . . . . . . #ambient #ambientmusic #music #electronicmusic #experimentalmusic #techno #synth #electronic #experimental #electronica #darkambient #synthesizer #soundscape #instrumental #newmusic #postrock #modularsynth #lofi #downtempo #art #drone #idm #dronemusic #noise #eurorack #vinyl #beats #chill #musicproducer #producer

Biannual Beats is humbled to offer this special new work - a collaboration between modular saxophonist Justin Bernard Williams and synthesist Justin Alvarado - The Justins “The Justin Egg Arc: I” begins a journey never before undergone in music history. The first in a decisive series of statements culled and woven from a small window in time, since magnified meticulously. Pressing play and closing our eyes we can vividly imagine looking out from the night’s shore as we see the sonorous breath of William’s woodwind splash, sink and breach the distant waves being pushed and pulled by the moonlight of Alvarado’s sonic gravity. Listening alone - rapt with beloved headphones, or on a reflective drive - is the suggested practice here. “The Justin Egg Arc: I” Twin heretics in blasphemous tempo Champions of lethargy via sloth Espousing all nine languid merits Per the listless cause they so advocate Unplugged tuned-out goes their path As is torpor the chosen abet “The Justin Egg Arc: I” is available everywhere.

Biannual Beats is proud to announce a new addition to our family along with a new release from modular synth maestro Bryan Gary - “The Traveler” is an insightful 30+ minute monolith of oceanic introspection and stellar immersion. You’re invited to bask in its welcoming warmth at the links in our bio. “Between atmospheres we’re painted with shifting gradient together in air thick and thin alight on wind-swept grasses our thoughts aloft convey subtle and wordless the sublime awe of gravity’s gift” . We’re overjoyed to announce a new release today from The Couchbound - “Dawn of the Snooze Hitters” An intimate and engrossing internal spectacle of haze-lit dreams fading, and the deep pool of consciousness enveloping any less-than-awake states we find ourselves. Headphones are essential for entering the personal space offered here, which you’ll find is extremely stereophonic and delicately mixed. Pour a cup of chamomile, look at the sky and listen. “Dawn of the Snooze Hitters” is available now on the @biannual_beats Bandcamp page, and will be on all streaming platforms within days.

Last night was the best unbirthday show ever! Thank you @biannual_beats and @batchatx for making it happen! And thank you @bunycalx @hyperjus @oddmanrushmusic for your amazing sets and @devrasplexi for your incredible visuals! Lastly, a special thanks to all the friends who came out for the unbirthday merrymaking! Maybe the world would be a better place if people celebrated their unbirthdays with shows.
